    Very well explained, but there is an error. IL1 was 8.91A not 8.46A so the capacitor current should be 6.27A (8.91 - 2.64 = 6.27A)

    Good video, but I'd argue that calling reactive power "unuseful" isn't a good description because it is required for transformers and motors and transmission lines require reactive power compensation to maintain a healthy system, injecting reactive power into the system raises voltage, and absorbing reactive power lowers voltage.

      Hi thanks for your comment, which is of interest. I'd like to point out, the context of this video is in reference with electrical installations, and reactive currents in distribution cabling and not distribution equipment in the grid.

    Am getting 86uF when using real power and power triangle to analysis C
