Hi Asir bro...I am owning a 2019 Ford figo TDCI Titanium...Clocked around 65k kms...It still drives like a gem...It's a great handler...I am a proud owner of Ford Figo...
HI @narendranm Is there any chance you are planning to sell your car? If you have any plans, please let me know. I currently own a TDCi Ikon-it's robust and comfortable, and I don't feel the same way on recent cars.
I love sharing my experience with my Freestyle too. It is a wonderfully engineered car, and its stability on highways is rock solid. The steering feedback feels well-connected to the driver. The 1.2L Dragon engine is smooth and well-refined. The best part is that even when fully loaded on highways with passengers and luggage, it easily cruises at 120 km/h. I’m happy to own this amazing car, and the joy of driving it lasts forever. The only drawback is that the boot space is not sufficient for our needs. Thank you for this Video.
Bought my Ford Freestyle Diesel in May 2019, Recently clocked 1 Lakh km the sheer driving pleasure we get especially in twisty roads is unmatched. The engine is a gem it can easily munch miles, on the highway I can easily pass cars even when I'm cruising at triple digit speeds. Hi Asir Anna! I own the 2020 Figo Titanium BLU 1.5 TDCI, it's now running over 73K and never felt like it's an old car or thinking of changing to a new one. Take the performance, handling, mileage, and looks, it is still a wonderful Machine. Other cars won't give the Driver's car feel like this one. we can talk and it will do as we say. I can still drive around 2.5 RPM and get good mileage 24-28KMPL and comfort, or I can do any close overtakes without a hassle, drive faster and still get a mileage over 20KMPL. I don't know anything about the car in 2017, like everyone, I am also looking for a Maruti Suzuki Swift. Then I came to know the best seller of the country is not a safe or performance car. Then I went to the market research for one year and drove a lot of cars. A lot means a lot. Finally I short listed the Toyota Etios cross, Hyundai i20 active and Ford freestyle. Finally, I bought Ford freestyle Trend diesel in December 2018 now clocked 75k kms with average millage Of 20kmpl and still dominating on highways.
After a detailed consulting call with Asir Bro, I bought my first car. It was an Ford Figo TDCi (2017) which was preowned. I had a lot of questions which he was able to answer it, which made me go for it and it was the best decision i made. I am loving every day with the car. The Performance, the handling, the feel of driving it is just impeccable. It is indeed a Torque Monster, to be honest. I have no negatives as of now with the car, and the service/spares is also always available and affordable as well. Thank you for making me a Ford Fanboy!
I have a First Gen Ford Figo 2011 Titanium 1.4 Diesel.. Over 13 years of pure driving pleasure.. it always brings a smile on the highway.. excellent handler.. even on full load with luggage sticks to the road on triple digit speeds and gives so much confidence.. with the exit of polo, i cannot pin point on a similar driver's car today.. miss old ford days, wish they had continued with newer models..
Sir, Ford's 1.5L Diesel Engine is an absolute Gem in terms of Pickup, performance and Best in class Mileage. Nothing comes close to this in this segment. Same engine is used in Aspire as well. Fantastic. Crazy that Ford was unable to capitalize Indian Market with this kind of Heart. I own a 2017 Aspire Diesel. Had Maruti or Hyundai got this engine, they would have ruled 200% more than what they have already done. 1. I get Highway Mileage of 24-26 when I drive between 90kmph and 100 kmph consistently. when you cross 100 kmph - mileage goes down to 20-22. This is the craziest stuff. and No other Diesel for that money can provide you this. No, we are talking about EV cars for triple the price - giving 24+ mileage. Ford's Diesel was way ahead by that time. 2. The Pick up is simply superb - Actual horse pick up - there is no question of doubt 3. Sturdiness in driving and spot on suspension. 4. AC cooling is excellent 5. per year Service maintenance cost was way below Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Honda Cars (my experience from 2017 onwards) Cons: a. Ford did not provide feature rich Cabin and did not improvise the interior experience b. Ground clearance in Figo and Aspire was a letdown c. Gear handling cud have been smoother like its competitors. d. Advertising and Marketing strategy was poor compared to Maruti and Hyundai.
BS4 Freestyle is the best. No car we’ve driven can compare to it. There are better cars, but the Freestyle diesel has a special character that only those who have driven it can relate to.
Excellent car , but DPF issues will be there if you are driving mostly in city roads. I have a BS6 diesel 2020 december freestyle. ❤ but for DPF issues 😮@@aaronpaul8947
True. Few good cars aren’t appreciated and received well in India. I just own one Fiat Punto 2009 model diesel car. Even after 2.75 lakh kms, it’s still delivers in same consistent levels..
Let me first thank @motowagon for giving confidence to buy freestyle 1.2. I got it from spinny. As i was sending this to @motowagon for suggestion, they gave me confidence to proceed if the car is mechanically fit. I bought it 2 years back and it’s clocked 89K. It never missed to impress me. I mostly drive in GST Road and it’s a real pocket rocket. Initially little disappointed with 2nd gear low rev lag, but after i used to it, now it’s rocking like rocket. I love the steering and the low end traction a lot. Happy possessor of freestyle ❤
Awesome episode it bring back my memories what I feel in a past year missing Ford so much particularly this type car ,now a days my family forcing to upgrade my car( 2016 figo diesel & 2018 freestyle petrol) but I cant find car that make me happy while im drive .
Bought freestyle titanium P in Oct 2018. I always feel the car reads my mind when it comes to handling. It exactly does what I want to do. Nothing more ... Nothing less...
Yes, that joyful inner feelings when you see other freestyle in road. I always honk once in highways (not in city) to say hi to the other freestylian 😊

32:55 Hi All, I totally agree with the emotional bond when we see Freestyle on road. I'm proud owner of Petrol Titanium+. Best in class experience so far, complete 30k + kms. So far no complaint and I maintain in Stock condition.
In India if you wanna buy a well balanced car then go for underrated cars. all the lost gem cars are mostly underrated cars of India where people always go for fancy features rather than the actual driving pleasure and safety oriented well balanced car.. we miss chevy cruze , polo , vento , punto , hexa and so on.. well the future would be a nightmare for diesel enthusiastics as EVs gonna dominate .. and shoutout to Asir where he always cares about safe driving protocols which is crucial for ours and the others .. well explained... following ur adipoli vdos since ur beginning of ur channel. Keep it up .. and we missed the engine startup sound from the bonnet view ..
I own a 2019 1.2l petrol titanium plus freestyle covering 80k kms . I love my car , it always puts a smile on my face while driving and as Asir bro said the feel you get while u cross another Freestyle is priceless ❤️

Ah ha ah ha...vaanga vaanga motowagon..such a joy and amazing feeling watching Freestyle review after some years. Full video without skip and So well connected. All the points u highlighted are so so true about this beast. Let the people who missed this beast suffer. I feel I am so lucky to have one as my first car only bcoz of its driving dynamics and its performance.
Hello MotoWagon, Loved this video and watched twice and that small Ford kid coming out of you ! can't ignore :) Me too a proud owner of Ford Figo Gen-I TDCi 1.4; 2012 model which clocked around 1.1k Kms and the pocket rocket % that it gives ~24-25kmpl. But i sold it due to harder clutch & hard hydraulic power steering reasons and also looking for some premiumness in a budget range. But, I cannot ignore the love to Ford due to the driving pleasure and I still want to drive a Ford vehicle which better premium and that made me to buy an used Ford Figo Gen-II TDCi 1.5 Titanium; 2019 model (driven at 30k kms) in Spinny during panic sale (when Ford leaving message in mid-2022 came) & i bought at 7-L. That's a worthy buy i believe. Now, clocked at 49k Kms & my daily driving limit is ~50k kms; half of it in city limits & remaining in highway drive. Being generally a modest driver; keeping at low revs in 1500-1800rpm, avg speed at 60kmph & occasional reach of speeds at 100kmph and one can't believe, i always had an efficiency of 27-28kmpl ; that i run b/w 30k to 49k kms. With high level driving dynamics, precise steering control, its top engineering under the bonnet. Driving on highway is like as smooth as sliding on butter. As you have phrased, "ahead of time", into market is a sensible term. No fancy features; but the essential things for a driver is the driving pleasure and that Ford makes it. Cheers to the whole team for this video !!!
I was transitioning from my 2004 Ikon in 2019. Only reason I didn't go for Freestyle was the four month waiting period they had even in Chennai. Their dealership network was a major contributor for their downfall.
I'm a figo 2019 1.5 Petrol AT owner. It's an awesome car and very comfortable to drive. Only drawback is the ground clearance is not suitable for our hills on roads i.e. speed breakers 😊
How much efficiency you get? I own ES AT. Btw you're one of the few people own figo AT because they sale one or two months only on the last move. Madurai akshya deliverd only two figo AT.
@@arulsakthivel6099 I get 11-12 in city. 16-17 in highways. If I drive sensibly, it sometimes crossed 18. All based on odometer calcs. My usage is very limited and mostly confined to the city.
That ending drive review points were very much true. Adhu oru feeling.. definitely..!! And all the negatives I agree completely. But that and all ruled out before its driving style and dynamics.!!
I booked fiat urban cross first and the very next day there came an announcement that fiat is exiting Indian market. Heart broken, cancelled the booking and searched for a fun to drive car afterwards. Test driven many cars but freestyle tdci made me to love its engineering, handling and fun to drive nature. Happily driving it for 6 years now. Everytime when i drive it makes me smile.
Hi asir bro, i bought second hand freestyle after consulting with moto wagon on 2023. Never regreted on my decision. This machine ❤ is really a life saver due to its agail and dynamic ability in driving. Everyone eyes on my freestyle only due to its steering feedback and driving dynamics. I feel safer while driving FS because of its bracking efficiency ❤.

I bought an used Ford Freestyle Diesel Titanium 2018 with 69k kms on ODO. And I drove around 16k kms in 1.5years. I was forced to sell it because of the huge maintenance and very low mileage due to city commute usage. I had to replace the clutch, brake pads and link rod and battery. The suspension was totalled, and AC was not blowing at it's fullest, and the next was anticipated to be the fuel injector and timing belt. The primary reason for choosing Ford was it being a driver's car and a diesel. It is a secondary car in our house, we also have a Tata Harrier Automatic TC 2022 model. So this was primarily used for the city commute. The sheer driving pleasure, agility and driving ergonomics, the immense torque are some of the things I still miss. I bought a new Suzuki Baleno Zeta during the fag end of 2024 in exchange for Ford Freestyle. Both are two extremes. Ford Freestyle is a driver's car, it puts a smile on your face when you put down the feet. Steering accuracy and re centering, the indefinite torque and drivability are some of the things I enjoyed the most. On the other hand, new, plush, silent and resilient but mileage king Baleno makes more sense for city commute. Even though the Baleno is not a driver's car, the engine is peppy for a petrol, does not put a hole to my pocket during service and mileage is also great. The steering is dead, not robustly built, struggles on small inclined roads and does not put a smile on your face no matter what. I am happy with my decision, but there is no day that goes without missing my Ford Freestyle. Whenever a freestyle passes by, I check the plates whether it was mine. ❤
We have had 3 cars of ford - Ikon Josh, Figo(1st gen) diesel and Ecosport dragon engine TC. Cars are good and well built, ford service center can be made way better. Not even once consider another brand. Loyalty is tested a lot with service center professional. As long as the car is good, no problem. Figo diesel is amazing to drive, petrol does not even give mileage. Ride quality is good.
I own a Ford Figo 2015... clocked 1.3L kms.... my family owned a 1st gen Figo and then went for a Creta 1.4L in 2015. .. so i got myself a Ford...i have been trying to find an automatic for the past 2 years that matches my Figo... the best part is the steering recenter ... i drive a lot on the hills, most rugged terrain... I love the corners when i go in without breaking... makes me feel like a pro driver but after 8 9 years of driving.. im tired of the hard clutch...i just haven't found any car that matches this one....
Ford is always a good mature handler , low cost maintenamce, good mileage even driving fast, pakka build quality ellame pottu kuduthu irrupanga suspensions ta konjam hard

It's a classic! 😊
Ford's Diesel
was way ahead by that time.
2. The Pick up is simply superb - Actual horse pick up - there is no question of doubt
3. Sturdiness in driving and spot on suspension.
4. AC cooling is excellent
5. per year Service maintenance cost was way below Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Honda Cars (my experience from 2017 onwards)
Cons:
a. Ford did not provide feature rich Cabin and did not improvise the interior experience
b. Ground clearance in Figo and Aspire was a letdown
c. Gear handling cud have been smoother like its competitors.
d. Advertising and Marketing strategy was poor compared to Maruti and Hyundai.
I have a BMW X1. But this machine takes a special place in my heart❤ Proud owner of a bs4 freestyle ❤
BS4 Freestyle is the best. No car we’ve driven can compare to it. There are better cars, but the Freestyle diesel has a special character that only those who have driven it can relate to.
❤
What about bs6 tdci sir@@motowagon
Excellent car , but DPF issues will be there if you are driving mostly in city roads. I have a BS6 diesel 2020 december freestyle. ❤ but for DPF issues 😮@@aaronpaul8947
Bs6 diesels come with dpf. If you drive mostly on the highways then you should be good.
Hi Asir Anna❤ I own a 2021 Ford Freestyle, he is my brother and true family member. Thanks for this contant making i am proud be a #MOTOFAM❤
You can use the pass light too 😅
I am having 2021 tdci 🔥🔥🔥 what a machine ❤❤❤❤ epadi drive panunalum 18kmpl mileage varum,,,bangalore to Nagercoil drive got 26 to 27kmpl speed around 90
I own 2017 ford figo 1.5tdci dv5 .... really proud to have this machine...
When it comes to handling, I Always love Italian...🇮🇹🇮🇹 Punto & Linea..❤
Punto and linea has great handling, as a package freestyle has some unique characters which no other car have
Wonderful car using past 9 years, upgraded to Ecosport sport, but still keeping my Figo.. wonderful machine and handling
Excellent Mr.Asir ,What ever I felt was told in this video.

Smile while driving 😊😊😊 feels how happy you are reviewing this car.... Ford Family can feel the same.....
Hi sir iam proud to be a freestyle Tdci owner today.. Thankyou for your excellent explanation video ...
32:55 Hi All, I totally agree with the emotional bond when we see Freestyle on road. I'm proud owner of Petrol Titanium+. Best in class experience so far, complete 30k + kms. So far no complaint and I maintain in Stock condition.
Great to hear that
Last video paathutu I bought this mini beast.. almost 2 yrs aachu.. that feel while riding.. thanks to MW makkas alws ..
Thank you for the constant support, yes we missed the engine portion 😬
The new Ford figo its pure gem. Bought during the launch on november 2015 clocked 3L plus and still going strong with 20 km/l
I own a 2019 1.2l petrol titanium plus freestyle covering 80k kms . I love my car , it always puts a smile on my face while driving and as Asir bro said the feel you get while u cross another Freestyle is priceless ❤️
You have a real gem there!
Hi Asir bro, your content making and your explanation styles are awesome, i own a car for 8 years, whenever i drove my car, i use to remember you, machine doesnt have life but you made me to connect with my car more into emotional.

I feel I am so lucky to have one as my first car only bcoz of its driving dynamics and its performance.
We expected your comment, nice to hear that 😊👍🏽
I want to tata zest review please 🎉❤❤ fan of moto fam
Hello MotoWagon,
Loved this video and watched twice and that small Ford kid coming out of you ! can't ignore :)
Me too a proud owner of Ford Figo Gen-I TDCi 1.4; 2012 model which clocked around 1.1k Kms and the pocket rocket % that it gives ~24-25kmpl.
Totally agree
@@arulsakthivel6099 I get 11-12 in city.
16-17 in highways. If I drive sensibly, it sometimes crossed 18.
All based on odometer calcs.
My usage is very limited and mostly confined to the city.
3.04 ku oru car cross panuchu atha note pani solirukalam 😂 btw good and much needed content waiting for more
We will plan for a car watching video 😅
I bought 2018 Dec freestyle with adjustable rear head rest even without test drive. But so convenient so lovable to drive
You’ve got a gem there!
That ending drive review points were very much true. Adhu oru feeling.. definitely..!! And all the negatives I agree completely. But that and all ruled out before its driving style and dynamics.!!
True 😂
Nostalgic memories.. just switched to Honda from Figo Aspire, one of best handler car..
Need Marrazo long term review anna. Oru video pani podunga
Ford freestyle is a superb engineering and performing car of it's class.
A superb, in-depth content, as it flows from your heart. Whatever you said, the points are true car lovers' content.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Wow... Great Explained
Hands down ...to the goat of hatchbacks ❤❤❤
You’ve got a winner there!
Punto Abarth and Ford Figo/Freestyle are underrated hatches
I am owning freestyle 2018 model petrol. but mileage 17 to 18 in highways .city 13 to 15 only .Yes bro fantastic handling car
I own freestyle 😊 and love it. I bought it only based on your videos. It's really fun to drive.
That’s awesome to hear!

anna pls make a content in educational series about college UG courses in automobile industry i am currently in my 12 th standard and going to complete my schooling this year and i want to build my career in automobile industry that previous content did not give much clarity about courses offered and courses that we should take and also talk about the future scope and risks taking these courses pls talk frankly about unemployment and underemployment(about percent of people getting placed in non core field)
We will research it properly and make a video.
Proud to be a Ford Fiesta Owner 🔥🔥
Cheers 💚
My freestyle just crossed 1.5L KM, still going strong, absolute pleasure to drive in Highways.
You got a gem there 💚
I have a ford figo ZXI 2012 diesel..
That's mini rocket..
Proud to be a figo owner ❤
I owned 2013 , figo... It's my 1st car and it's the best Hatchback engineering for india . I still drove almost 2.15 lakhs km covered and counting on.. Huge power 1.5 Turbo Diesel.. And solid weight 1.1 tons where nowadays we can't get. It's a great drivers car
You've got a real gem there!

I love my freestyle because it works as my my mind thinking, such a very sharp
You have great taste in cars!
Proud freestyle owner
Cheers 💚
Ford is always a good mature handler , low cost maintenamce, good mileage even driving fast, pakka build quality ellame pottu kuduthu irrupanga suspensions ta konjam hard
We own both eccosport & freestyle ❤ it
I’m having Ford freestyle… I would say it is one of the best handling car in the segment… ❤
True
Ford ikon 1.4 tdci all time fav ❤
I'm also looking for one in second hand but as you said it is really hard to get one
I bought freestyle petrol in 2018. Lost the car in 2023 chennai floods 😢. Had to give it off. Now I own a slavia 1.5 MT. Loving it …. But I miss freestyle and its agility.❤
That’s sad
Hi Asir bro, I have global fiesta 2011 model and figo s 2017 model.. I'm a big fan of ford cars and was able to connect each and everything you have said about freestyle. About the cluth😂.. ulla kumural dhan😅..
You’re definitely a Ford enthusiast! 😄
Hi bro. Back seat neck rest was corrected by FORD very soon after launch. Only first few months vehicles came with non removable neck support.
Yes
@ I am the proud owner of the very few top models of diesel version of this car T+. Whatever you have told may not actually connect with people unless they drive it. Such a gem and thanks for this review it will be in my collection for long time to come not selling at all
