I am a proud owner of Ecosport Facelift and love every bit of it while driving. It still amazes me with the looks, feel and driving comfort even if its 5 years old and no other car pleases me.
About to complete 2,50,000KM on my 2015 model. Never had any major issues. Always a trusty companion on my side. It was my first car that I bought and so many incredible memories! Glad to see people still remembering it in a good way!
@ servicing always a good experience with Ford and a cheaper one too. We have about 5,6 old ford authorized servie centers operating in my city(Coimbatore) still after the Ford shutdown. Not sure about the other places though. And I was also skeptical about repairs & parts when Ford decided to leave. But so far its no a problem at all.
WOW! Congrats!! How much did you pay for it? After seeing this video, I too started looking for one in my region! There's a 2015 diesel model with 77k KMs. The seller is asking for 5L. Minor body marks here and there. Worth it?
The best car with great driving dynamics till date. Also it had lumber support. Never felt tired even on 12 hrs long drive. never had any back stiffness also. I pray they relaunch Ecosport . Will be first person to book it. I still own Ecosport. Want to update my car since 2 years. Took test drive of so many cars in sub 4 segment. But nothing beats Ecosport.
Went ahead and bought Ford Ecosport Titanium S Petrol with that 1.0 L ecoboost engine as my 1st car. Enjoying the drives since then. What a peppy little engine that is. The steering feedback, driving dynamics, can't beat any of that. Everytime I take it for a spin, it brings joy to me. Any Ecoboost fans? If one owns, what is the mileage you are getting in stop go traffic like in peak Bengaluru. Mine is getting 6.5 to 8 in traffic city conditions. And about 17 kmpl in highway.
I bought, "Casper", my Ecosport 1.5 petrol MT in 2020. Going on 5 years now. I still have NO regrets! I relocated from Delhi to Kerala in 2021, after lockdown was eased off. I couldn't bring myself to look for a buyer. So, I had Casper shipped to Kerala. Best decision ever!!!!
Ecosport EcoBoost made 123Bhp not 128 as shown in the video. At 6:43 the Ecosport was never launched with a 1.4 diesel but a 1.5 90HP motor. 1.4 TDCi debuted with the Fiesta/ Fiesta classic. At 8:03 the centre console looked like the Nokia Ngage phone back in the day not the Moto RazrV3/ V3i (because i happened to own the latter in college)
Yes exactly..also later on 1.5 TDCI got an upgrade and it churned out 100 BHP and 205 NM of torque...evo team should have done a better research work...
I have a ford figo 2010 duratec petrol engine. It is still going strong and is about to enter a 15yr period. Planning to extend it for another 5 yrs. No regrets driving it. Had fun every time I drive this car. Service experience is top notch and the spare parts are easily available even if it comes from thailand, it is still a better quality compared to those spare parts manufactured by tata & mahindra. The costing part is true and it costs less than a Maruti to maintain while still having the driving style and dynamics of a German car. It's achieving 17kmpl in Chennai city and around 22kmpl in highway around 120 kmph. I am gonna buy an Ecosport or a Freestyle after the figo in the 2nd hand market. There's nothing like Ford in India even today. I genuinely wish that ford comes back. I'll be ready to purchase my next car from them only.
Heyy bro. My father has a 2013 Figo DuraTec petrol as well. We are getting atrocious mileage, and also the engine feels very lackluster. Needs to be revved a lot to get going. How's it in your case? I know the car is heavy. But it feels really lethargic. The engine. But dynamics are absolutely top notch. That little car is a frickin TANK. I'm desperately looking out for a Ecosport in the 2nd market as well. I love Ford, mahn
2019 model Figo TDCi , I did 170 kmph with a stock engine . On samruddhi mahamarg. Servicing costs are very low till now . But if something out of the box happens, they take a lot of time to fix it . They still offer warranty till 7th year that's a good thing .
ecosport basically birthed its segment. it is still seen in large numbers on the roads to this day. hope ford, with its imminent return, brings back this lovely car (still waiting for the tata sumo episode btw)
@satheeshbalakrishnan1657 they made it for India to begin with. Hopefully if they have a compact suv they can just put the ecosport badge on it like they do with their everest (making it endeavour) suv. Pretty sure the nostalgia bait will be a good seller
@@gurcharan6666 so you have a terrible lack of English knowledge. Did you see the "basically"? Or did you come in like a blind man trying to act smart. ORRRRR you don't even know what basically means in different contexts
I had Ecosport Titanium Diesel 2014, the black beast and had to change as it cannot go to NCR due to completion of 10 yrs. I tried lot of cars but couldn't find the driving dynamics, steering handling in any of them. Again, brought Ecosport Diesel Titanium 2021 model (used one). Have Balck and white beast both! Fun to Ride!!
We were one of the first buyers of Ecosport back in October 2013 for around 10.5 Lakhs for the Titanium variant, Push button start and keyless entry were unheard of at that time and people were in awe when they drove our car. Finally we sold our car in 2021 after 90k km. I still remember how we can just thrash it through corners, knowing it won't roll over and the solid turbo boost we get in the engine was addictive
I bought a second hand ecosport last year and I love the way it drives..the way it's built and the way it looks...it's a superb car...still drive it and love it every time I drive the car
Got mine 1 year ago.. 2017 DCT Titanium. Love how it revs and picks up in its Sport mode. Brilliant car. Nothing beats its build quality and stability on road. And safety on point with airbags!
Sirish easily the best motor presenter and reviewer..superb narration, the channel owes its success only to this one person..everyone else is a big showoff, little stuff, high on nonsensical stuff..evo is lucky to have Sirish 😇
Bought the Ecosport Diesel, just before it got discontinued. You wont find a car like this in this category!! Driving Dynamics, Steering feel and Handling, High Speed Stability - Nothing can beat this in its class.
When i talk to my big bro that i'm gonna purchase a good used ecosport he said "that's great it's a Gem 💎 bro & always ❤, " he already ownz a latest Scorpio N top model even though he got lot of love for Ecosport❤
I used work at Ford. It's one of the best car I have driven. Driving dynamic is so good that it has no match with the same category of different segments. Eco boost engine was least in the segment, not only you mentioned it, but it was a very headache to repair the engine because I have seen a technician getting fade up if there is a major problem and vehicle is not starting then it very hard to fire up the engine. I have seen a lot during my working tenure. But it is more powerful than a 1500cc engine.
The undisputed beast on ROAD 'Ford Ecosport ' … Been driving Ford Ecosport Titanium 2019 and it rules the arena wherever it goes. FORD,.... Come back to INDIA guys....❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love your gone but not forgotten series. It's very nostalgia evoking. Your series on the entire ford line is by far the very best. Your sincerity and joy while shooting the ford series is absolutely affable. I own a ford ecosport dragon engine and each time I see my ford, I only have respect and adoration for it. The ford service remains top class and nothing has changed for me. Thanks for giving this beast of a vehicle it's due share.
This car since the day it was launched was a safety pioneer in it's segment.. my brother had an accident at the speed of 110 and flipped the cars multiple times ... Even without wearing a seat belt they all were safe without even a scratch and injury..
I drove my 2017 ecosport titanium plus for about 2000 km continuously without any issues. It will give you a fantastic 20+ mileage if droves around 80-100 km/h. ❤
Dont know why i am feeling sad and getting goosebumps at the same time, ford made lot of efforts in ic engineering for all types customer class but crowd shifted to computer on wheels i hope @ford make comeback and make auto enthusiasm live 🙏🏻 Kudos to @Evo👍🏻✌🏻

November 2024 i bought c3 turbo automatic vehicle. It’s the best mini vehicle for Indian roads with great suspension and decent features. I am getting 11 to 12 mileage now, service centre people told after 2nd service it will improve when the engine oil is changed. Highly recommended mini vehicle for Indian roads. Please do a video on Citroen C3 automatic bro
I own a Ford Ecosport TDCi Titanium and i absolutely love the car till date. I got it over a Creta after drive comparisions. 70k driven so far in 4.3 years and its still a charming choice. I am a proud owner of 1.5 liter diesel for last 9 years. I bought a Jeep compass in 2021 but could not let go my first love. It is still so good. The service till date is topclass. Where as I see other brands how they treat my friends. Now I have moved to Munich, the home of BMW, and guess which compact SUV here I see on the roads. Non of your best Saling, useless feature packed competitors exist here. It is only the original king Ecosport holding its fort against the mighty European brands. So do hell with your comparison 😉😄
You should've had a remapped and modified one. The current passionate owners are exploiting the full mod potential to make it one of the best out there. Myself being one among them. 135 bhp and 311 nm torque. Brembo brake pads plus a digital instrument cluster and a ST Line steering wheel from the UK Fords. It's a great great car and an even better project daily car right now.
I own a Ecosport 1.5TDCI and Figo petrol and must say they are benchmark in its class on its own. Except for the rear sear space, I still feel ecosport is best in its class even today and no other compact SUVs can match. The build quality, the driving comfort, ergonomics, running cost is unmatchable to its competition for sure. Both my cars are appreciating it's value as car enthusiasts are hunting for a well maintained examples in today's date.
The best drivers car - stability, corner magnet, feel and feedback of steering, rough and tough, heavy feeling of safety when you drive it and above all awesome mileage(diesel).🎉
I own a 2017 Ecosport TDCI. The engine is a gem, never feels strained. Very little turbo lag and easy to drive around in traffic. Gives 20+ kmpl in normal driving conditions. Dislikes being heavy clutch and low speed ride quality
Absolutely. Worked like a charm. The system would call a preset number automatically in the event of an accident. The centre manning that number would use the GPS location of the vehicle and pass it on to the nearest emergency services for the quickest response. Incredible that you remembered that incident from the 8th day of the media drive from way back in 2013. Hahahaha
I was eagerly waiting EVO India wouldake a special shoot on the Legend Ecosport especially when you guys did on the 'Ford Gone but not Forgotten'. And here we have it. Thanks. Ford Ecosport deserves this. I am driving one since 6 years, and the dynamics/ruggedness/stability this vehicle offers is matchless even today intimes of Seltos Creta Brezza Sonnet or the Nexon. The ease of practicality with compact body shell with swift 1.5 Ltr Dragon Petrol Engine makes maneuvering in town and highways way way easy. Brilliant Machine. Had it not been the heck of the Legend it became in India, you would definitely not have the Die Hard Ecosport Fan base in India!!
Always wanted an Ecosport diesel. Never got the chance. After seeing this video, I started looking for one in my region! There's a 2015 diesel model with 77k KMs. The seller is asking for 4L. Minor body marks here and there. Worth it?
I owned Ford ikon 1.6 , Ford fiesta classic brilliant handling with terrific petrol engines!! No one makes such cars anymore it’s only about touchscreens in the cars these days!
Until 2021, Ecosport was the best car in the segment. Driving, infotainment, key features. Pricing and safety. XUV 400 had little boot space and poor ground clearance with outdated infotainment. It had a good torque. It was more pricier. Venue and Sonet (sister models) had features but weren’t anywhere near when it came to safety and driving dynamics. Nexon was solid. And with ford leaving, they now rule the segment.
Bhai diesel ecosport chalane ke baad baki diesel engines chalana hi chhod diya. Sahi Main makhhan hain. Turning mein jo curb weight mehsoos hota hai vo feel hi nahi tata mahindra main. Handling 🔥🔥 proud owner
Nothing can beat this engine and performance. Afcourse as you mentioned there is little less bootspace and legroom for rear passenger. You can not complain any other. Mine is 1lakh driven with max 8k service charges.. Ford should come back
Idk if im totally correct or not but as per as i know premiere rio was the first compact SUV in India but ecosport was the one which made this segment popular
What are your memories with the Ford EcoSport? Let us know in the comments
Always wanted to own one. But ended up with a Figo 1.5 tdci.

How's the servicing ? Is it still a good buy in used car marketplace?

Bought a used Ecosport Diesel S last week after having Ford Freestyle Diesel for years. Couldn’t find any car as good as this.
Good call. I too bought one last March and runs like a dream.
Other cars are useless in this segment except ford which used to give what driver needed
Sir have u sold your freestyle !?? If willing to sell you can ping me
Planning to buy one myself. Hopefully I get one

Owning the very last Ecosport sold in India in. It was out of pure love for this beauty. And I have no regrets in fact I feel lucky ❤💙
Excellent car my ecosport diesel 2018 has driven 2,80,000 kms and still going strong
Awesome! We hope you make many more memories with it :)
I think the figo S and fiesta 1.6S deserve their own episode !!
Exactly. Fiesta S, Figo S and Ecosport are the best 3 cars Ford came up with in India.
Ikon 1.6, Fiesta 1.6 and Figo S/ Freestyle
Sure, thanks for the suggestion
Still thankful that I didn't go with Brezza and bought an Ecosport. Still a charm

I own a 2017 Ecosport TDCI. The engine is a gem, never feels strained. Very little turbo lag and easy to drive around in traffic. Gives 20+ kmpl in normal driving conditions. Dislikes being heavy clutch and low speed ride quality
a 'Gone But Not Forgotten' after a long time 😍😍
😍😍
Hahahaha
I have 1.5tdci figo and I can totally relate with all ford fans...done 1lakh+ on odo and still ultimate fun
Been driving the diesel for the last 9 years ,and everytime I take it out my pulse sets into race mode .very happy to have one .
That's a great feeling!
Was the transmission DCT in the earlier petrol variant of ford ecosport?
2016 ford aspire petrol .. Slightly underpowered but sufficient power but for family use its perfect car with good driving dynamics❤❤❤️🔥
i love my Ford ecosport ❤
even the ford Ikon desevres thier own episode! i have a 1.3 ROCAM 21 years old still banging!!
Proud owner of 2021 Ecosport Titanium 1.5 Tdci. IT has some different feeling🤗
EVO team always bring great contents 👍
Thank you :)
Clocked 1.3L kms so far in my 2014 TDCI .. 🚀🔥
Aging like a fine ..🍷
My 1.5 petrol 2020 Ecosport bs6 is very fast. 😍
Always wanted an Ecosport diesel. Never got the chance. After seeing this video, I started looking for one in my region! There's a 2015 diesel model with 77k KMs. The seller is asking for 4L. Minor body marks here and there. Worth it?
I would say that ecosport is the best in it's class. Comfortable, very reliable and less maintenance.👍👍👍
What an Episode!! Felt like a proper farewell to the legend. As an owner of the 2018 Ecosport, I am flattered. :)
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
FYI ford ecosport did have a 1.5 diesel and not a 1.4 diesel
2015 ecosport titanium TDCi, 34k km driven. Less driven but most cared for.
I have an ecosport thunder edition ❤...
I owned Ford ikon 1.6 , Ford fiesta classic brilliant handling with terrific petrol engines!! No one makes such cars anymore it’s only about touchscreens in the cars these days!
Totally agree once ford fan always.. I own fiesta classic diesel ⛽
is it still a good idea to buy used fords in 2025?
@1:57,
Drives Red Porsche (911 Boxter ?) for a Ford Ecosport.
Sirish, You are a True Legend.
Not a Boxter but you can take a guess again 😉
I know it’s not a right match ,But 3x0 tdgi or kylaq would come any close?
Driving Ford Ecosport diesel for 4 years What a gem❤
India's best CSUV!!
Best car in mid/small crossover segment.
Only found one disadvantage regarding its A pillar to partial blockade of right side view.
Ford EcoSport & Duster, these 2 cars are so underrated today! Miss those rugged Diesel car days
Bhai diesel ecosport chalane ke baad baki diesel engines chalana hi chhod diya. Sahi Main makhhan hain. Turning mein jo curb weight mehsoos hota hai vo feel hi nahi tata mahindra main. Handling 🔥🔥 proud owner
Nothing beats Ford!!!
nothing was needed to beat them they themselve shut shop and left !
Completely agree. One of finest cars on Indian road till today.
Engine oil consumption issue for my 2014 ecosport.
