Yeah, pretty sure that sudden pause was him actually thinking it over... And who doesn't think that is how Yahtzee would look like fighting? Throw in the black imp creature and a pale shrek (Gabe) as a tag team...
Funny thing about that as well. There's an interview with him out there somewhere where he says he'll NEVER play the Dark Souls franchise... it makes me smile now lol
It's weird going to back to these old videos and hearing them talk about the then semi-reliable rumor that the PS4 was going to do backwards compatability, and now here we are 2 years later and the company that's *actually* doing it is Microsoft with the Xbox One and not Sony. Crazy.
Yahtzee Kisses!!! Also, what a depressing little storyline - Eddie, British Bulldog, Chris Benoit, Test...hell, even facing Edge was a bit depressing as he had to retire early due to spinal injury.
It wasn't *this* game, but I remember playing one of the old WWF games on N64 with my friends and absolutely LOVING it! Thanks for trudging through the boredom, Yahtzee... and thank you for playing, Gabriel!
But it truly isn't a MMO. It has so few features, and is basically broken in every rural area. Because no pokestops no Pokegyms and no Pokemon. Only people in the Big cities can actually play the fucking game. What passes as a game.
GANJAxxTHExxCURE yeah it means you have to actually go out and talk to other people playing the game. the usual kind of interaction. That still makes it massive multiplayer and it is an online game
“Father beatings aren’t (infections)” Now I’m imagining a situation where you hug a parental abuse victim, go home, sneeze, and beat the nearest child at hand.
Hey guys. Loved watching this through. Putting you (this video) on my FB page called Best of Let's Plays. Thanks for the laughs. You have no fucking idea how hard it is finding interesting people who have played this game.
I loved Fable because my first time seeing it was at a friend's house when I was like ten or eleven. Got an Xbox to play that and Knights of the Old Republic. I wasn't exposed to any of the hype that ruins those games. Fable 2 I was, but I still liked that game. Fable 3 wasn't great. That said, I own two copies of it.
I really hope the Wii U and Nintendo don't fail this generation. I really like how, despite its flaws, Nintendo was trying to innovate and do something new with their hardware, whereas the xbone and the pisspoor have pretty much identical controllers to the previous generation (and are pretty much identical between themselves).
Innovation for innovation's sake doesn't go anywhere, though. If the new features of a controller are either a) entirely redundant like the PS4 pad or b) obtuse and ultimately gimmicky like the Kinect or Wii U controller, it's not a meaningful line of progression. Why change something that was never broken in the first place - especially if if those changes would only make it worse?
Good points, but remember the success of the Wii. Innovation for innovation's sake is bad, but innovation can still have a huge impact and dramatically change the industry.
I feel like Nintendo kind of dropped the ball in the innovation department in this generation. I mean, yeah, they did something different but... with the Motion controllers for the Wii, they tried something new and risky but with the Wii U, it feels like they thought "What's hot on electronics nowadays !? Tablets!? Let's make a console with a tablet for a controller!"
I'd like to see Yahtzee in a REAL wrestling match; maybe then he'd understand that it's a very labour intensive practice. Anything can happen, injuries DO occur and lives are affected. Unlike MMA; where it's just 2 guys rolling around on the ground, grabbing at each other, trying not to look gay... Often times failing!
Ray Mysterio was my favorite. But, one time I saw one wrestler whispering to another, "you ready," before he did a suplex, from that moment, I realized that it is staged. But, I still watched it. Too bad WWF/WWE are gone into history.
Pokemon has so many fucking social components that it's unplayable as a completionist thing unless you have completionist friends. Emulating pokemon is shit because you can only 100% any of them by trading. An MMO would be brilliant thing. Hell, it's halfway to being an MMO already with all of the online mechanics they've put in.
Yahtz occasionally mentions how easily you can soft-lock yourself in system shock 2 but Honestly I dunno how true that is. It feels like something you need to do deliberately. Let's assume Yahtz doesn't mean bad combat skill specialization. IE putting points in willy nilly instead of picking one weapon type and making them slap harder than God. so that narrows it down to plot stuff It's been a while since I went through Syshock2 so forgive me if some details are amiss... 1. As far as I know you need to hack a Value-Rep vending machine to get a Story thing. But i.c.e picks exist so you don't HAVE to put the points into Hack 1. 2. You need to spec research 1 for something, I forget what. but you are told to do so AND given the necessary skillpoints to do so. 3. There is an death pit on one of the floors that you could drop an important item into but at that point you're fucking yourself, I'm not sure why I included this point I dunno about you guys but on my first playthrough I didn't know what skills I'd need so I always kept 10 or so points in the bank until something popped up that demanded an upgrade, like maybe a new research item dropped that required another point in that skill TLDR: that talk about soft locking yourself so easily in System Shock 2 sounds like an old wives tale
This is, even still, my favourite wrestling videogame. I poured so many hours into playing and making characters and intros and whatnot. Such a thrill and surprise to see this!
We used to play WCW vs nWo Revenge on my friend's N64 all the time, it was an incredible game. Since back then we didn't have any FAQ or let's plays, we just played the game and kept discovering all these new moves, bugs and all sorts of secrets on our own, it was classic gaming bliss. Great memories.
God, it's so weird watching this in 2017 and the PS4 has practically zero backwards compat, unless you count the complete shit that is PS Now and re-buying 10-15 year games as 'backwards compat', while Xbox is soon getting Xbox OG emulation and already has Xbox 360 back compat.
48:10 Yahtzee had a perfect leading in question for Gabe about D'lo Brown. Seems like Gabe didn't know that he turned a fellow wrestler into a quadriplegic by accident.
At some point Yahtzee went from "PC gamers are elitist braggers" to "yeah, PC gaming is the best and consoles, meh".. not sure when it happened, but it happened.
John Kelly Actually, he himself mentioned that his coined phrase "PC master race" was just sarcasm, though he did talk about how some idiots love to measure and compare their hardware d*cks.
The amount of dead people(or people like D'lo who paralyzed somebody) has earned this video the title The Ballad Of Nasty Yahtzee Crowshaw In The Haunted WWF with the tagline No Mercy in this rambling.
2 things... 1 - Woo! New Episode! 2 - Yahtzee, ya remember when you talked about MoH Airborne's Soundtrack... Congratz, I looked it up out of curiosity and my gods it really did have me crying
Square's doing even worse than Nintendo with old game pricing, charging like $20 for an extremely ugly port of FF6 for phones, as well as $10-20 for other FF games and Chrono Trigger. Seriously, downloadable old games should be there to get people into your new stuff, not be something that's a huge investment for potential new players that won't take the risk.
***** The graphics were changed, but judging by the screenshots, this was a very detrimental change. Really ugly antialiasing (and this comes from someone who likes emulator antialiasing at times), superfluous UI elements, and other things make it look awful. I did buy FF3 off the Android market around the time of its release, and while it was something like $6 above what it should be, at least it was somewhat reasonable a request. It used the DS remake as a base and added features like quicksave to make the experience better on phones. In other words, it was a somewhat enhanced port of a game from late 2006 rather than a somewhat enhanced port of a game from 1990, making the price at least somewhat fair. FF6, on the other hand, is a port with detrimental changes with little effort put in, and charging $16 for a shitty port of a game from 1994 is indeed really absurd.
That sucks what happen to Eddy Guerrero. But as for the guys in Deus Ex, they went after me until they took three ticks of damage before running for help and then passing out. Was pretty easy.
Strangely enough I just finished watching Geop's LP of Dark Souls before watching this. The game looks like a lot of fun/misery, but it definitely made me want to play it before getting Dark Souls 2. Would be interested to see a ZP when Dark Souls 2 is out.
Can't believe how much fun wrestling games used to be. As always Gabe, you have much better taste in games than Yahtzee. And thank you for making Yahtzee a wrestler. I can die happily now.
4:56 "Gabriel... You don't look at the mantelpiece while you're stoking the fire."
Gabe was actually right on the money. One way nintendo got out of their post-Wii pre-Switch slump was Pokemon Go, a pokemon MMO
Also right on how they'd release shitty mobile games, Pokemon Go withstanding.
"Is this guy my wife?" Yahtzee innocently says about Chris Benoit.
Hah, haha-haa.
I surely hope not for your sake!
"Isn't that being remade, Dungeon Keeper?"
Those poor fools...
It's like going into a time machine...
Paper Bag, Get out of me Tardis!
I played this with my friends back in high school. We made a guy who always pulled a guitar out of the audience and named him El Kabong.
Am I the only one who expected Yahtzee to go after the women's championship?
Yeah, pretty sure that sudden pause was him actually thinking it over... And who doesn't think that is how Yahtzee would look like fighting? Throw in the black imp creature and a pale shrek (Gabe) as a tag team...
No, you are not.
Still go back to these videos to this day.
Every single night to fall asleep to
6 years later, that quip about Nintendo pricing their old games remains as true as ever...
It's even worse now though, just a year after the above comment.
hahaha arrrr
and think less than 20 days later Yahtzee falls in love with Dark Souls
I don't think it's actual love, I think it's like a BDSM relationship, where yahtzee wants to leave, but can't because he's so emotionally attached.
I don't think that's BDSM that's battered wife syndrome
+The Easily Bored Gamer And a scant few months later, he's ragging on Gabe for not having finished it yet.
Funny thing about that as well. There's an interview with him out there somewhere where he says he'll NEVER play the Dark Souls franchise... it makes me smile now lol
@@barubary218 he also said he'd never have kids and look where we are now
How did Gabe love this in the '90s when it came out in 2000.
Confirmed: Gabe's a time traveler.
Gabe's an idiot. He just says things because in his insecure mind they'll make him seem more interesting.
It's weird going to back to these old videos and hearing them talk about the then semi-reliable rumor that the PS4 was going to do backwards compatability, and now here we are 2 years later and the company that's *actually* doing it is Microsoft with the Xbox One and not Sony. Crazy.
Weew! Xbox.
here's a fun drinking game while watching these videos: have a drink every time Gabriel says "here's the thing"
Yahtzee Crotchaw.
Haha. haha. ha.
I'm going to my room to think about what I've done.
36:07 Yahtzee's usual interaction with his fans at the mana bar.
Yahtzee Kisses!!!
Also, what a depressing little storyline - Eddie, British Bulldog, Chris Benoit, Test...hell, even facing Edge was a bit depressing as he had to retire early due to spinal injury.
3:03 my tears of laughter nearly drowned my dog
"Well I dont wear black buttin down shirts in my videos-"
Oh by do I have news for you
I want to explore your labia on my own terms. - Benjamin "Yahtzee" Croshaw
Quote of the year.
I'd like to see yahtzee play System shock 2 for the next Let's Drown out
It wasn't *this* game, but I remember playing one of the old WWF games on N64 with my friends and absolutely LOVING it! Thanks for trudging through the boredom, Yahtzee... and thank you for playing, Gabriel!
damb 8y and no one liked the one wholesome comment
That's a Yahtzee quote I love "Stick your leg in the air and tell me you love me"
A pokemon MMO wouldn't sell - Yathzee Croshaw. That seems so quaint now.
But it truly isn't a MMO.
It has so few features, and is basically broken in every rural area.
Because no pokestops no Pokegyms and no Pokemon.
Only people in the Big cities can actually play the fucking game.
What passes as a game.
Also theres no in game player to player interactions.
GANJAxxTHExxCURE yeah it means you have to actually go out and talk to other people playing the game. the usual kind of interaction. That still makes it massive multiplayer and it is an online game
What about me Wilf?
Are my points not good enough?!?!
Gah!
Wilfs nowadays!
As chin high as those MILFS!
And don't even get me started on Quilts!
“Father beatings aren’t (infections)”

Hey guys. Loved watching this through. Putting you (this video) on my FB page called Best of Let's Plays. Thanks for the laughs. You have no fucking idea how hard it is finding interesting people who have played this game.
Who else wants to hear Gabriel's rendition of "Paparazzi" called "Fucking Yahtzee"?
There were no more spaceships... that is a surprisingly sad sounding line
"Theres something in me fucken neck" xD I lost it. God damn it
Personally, I liked Fable and Fable 2. They weren't revolutionary, but they were fun.
The first one, I did enjoy.
The 2nd one's ending ruined the whole experience for me, personally.
I loved Fable because my first time seeing it was at a friend's house when I was like ten or eleven. Got an Xbox to play that and Knights of the Old Republic. I wasn't exposed to any of the hype that ruins those games. Fable 2 I was, but I still liked that game.

Oh I thought you were talking about a different game, WWF WrestleMania which I remember very fondly.
Oh hey, you make the awesome Animated ZP vids, Kudos to you!
hang on
I think I'm subscribed to you
yes, it's a small world
Commandant Obvious Thanks! I also try answering to most of Gabe's fanart challanges :P kdanielss.deviantart.com/gallery/47556192
I don't think I've ever seen that much swagger in a walk as Nasty Yahtzee's entrance.
I like how helpful and cooperative Test was. That kind of thing just really cheers me up.

I almost died when Gabe said "My precious antique groin!!"
This has become my favorite series in TH-cam.
My first "Let's Drown Out..." and I loved it. Time to go through the back catalogue.

I have a friend who was always of the opinion that if they made an MMO Pokemon game with all the regions for console, it would sell like hotcakes.
+Bob Bluered it would sell like hotcakes regardless. but its whether it would be shit or not thats the question
Fair enough.
Top 5 LDO moment at 21:40
Gabe: Now I'm special
Yahtz: You certainly area
See-ga? Say-ga.
Yahtzee has fantastic comedic delivery. I love 'im.
I sang Yahtzee's lovely kisses song and every woman in a two mile radius around me instantly climaxed.
The Lovely Kissing Song: 42:15
Yahtzee probably wouldn't want to be married to Chris Benoit... :/
At some point Yahtzee went from "PC gamers are elitist braggers" to "yeah, PC gaming is the best and consoles, meh".. not sure when it happened, but it happened.
He's always been a PC Gamer, he just hates most of the PC userbase. As he does for most people to be honest.
It happened when the next generation came out and were shit.
John Kelly Actually, he himself mentioned that his coined phrase "PC master race" was just sarcasm, though he did talk about how some idiots love to measure and compare their hardware d*cks.
The current generation came out.
Then he saw what we all saw.
It seemed like it happened when he bought an alien ware. Which is ridiculous.
No emoticon or word can describe my reaction to 21:05-21:11. HILARIOUS
All the dark souls talk from yahtzee, I wonder if he'll go back and give demon's souls another shot now that he's down with how this shit works.
I sure wish, 2020 and still no demons souls revisit
Just did it.
congratulations Gabe you managed to find the only game I actually do find boring. The Yahtzee character almost carried it for the first match though.
Looking up "Yatzee in Equestria"
The best part is at the end of the first chapter and author wrote, "Yatzhee if you see this, I'm so sorry."
Jamie Kamihachi Yhah. I bookmarked it to read it later. Need to get on that...
+Bodi Sanford It got cancelled... but it went pretty well....
There's no way in hell I should be so happy that this is the game they're doing........but I am. Fuck it.
Your choices in video games continues to amaze me! Fantastic!
I tried reading Yahtzee in Equestria but it got too embarrassing. I don't think Yahtzee suits My Little Pony crossover fanfics.
nothing suits my little pony crossover fanfics. NOTHING
wait that exists? I thought that was just a joke
KrankuEDM
That is brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
It's a small world btw, I did not expect seeing you again this soon.
Hououin Kyouma Yeah fancy that, guess we both have good taste in TH-cam videos.
I prefered the Yahtzee in Equestria art myself skiddlezizkewl.deviantart.com/gallery/41535167.
It's really lacking in wit though......

Jesus Gabe, way to kinkshame us.

The amount of dead people(or people like D'lo who paralyzed somebody) has earned this video the title

with the tagline
No Mercy in this rambling.
It's nice hearing Gabe talking about wrestling and knowing what he's talking about. I fee; so included
Obscure Adam & Joe reference at 57:25! Nice.
Yahtzee kind of looks like Heisenberg.
I thought he looked like Notch.
Funniest part of this video 1:03:19. Gabriel praises the modding community and then is immediately disappointed in it lol
Yahtzee is neither a heel or a face, he's kinda more like an Anti-hero aspects wouldn't it be?
I kinda think he'd be neutral but a bit more heel than face.
The awekward moment when Yahtzee asks if he is Chris Benoit's wife.
Nothing's funnier than seeing a dignified, intelligent Brit/Aussie dealing with wrestling.
Why is Yahtzee now Heisenberg.
Seems like Gabriel is derailing the discussion even more than usual with all his wrestling jib jab..
Man listening to how yahtzee felt about the souls series before he got really into it is very similar to how I feel about it still
Whacking the guy with the pool cue repeatedly was hilarious.
Oh gosh, this brings back memories. XD Me and my brother played this game so much back in the day!
2 things...
1 - Woo! New Episode!
2 - Yahtzee, ya remember when you talked about MoH Airborne's Soundtrack... Congratz, I looked it up out of curiosity and my gods it really did have me crying
That's pretty much all non-reboot MoH games though.
Clowndoe
Well they all use the same song just with slight alterations each time, Which I like because the original song is fanatastic
BTML498 That's just the main theme though. There are completely different tracks, and they're all fantastic.
The proper return to dungeon keeper is an early access game currently called War for the Overworld, would wait till its out but seems great so far.

He botched a move and made another wrestler, Droz, a total quadriplegic.
That sucks what happen to Eddy Guerrero. But as for the guys in Deus Ex, they went after me until they took three ticks of damage before running for help and then passing out. Was pretty easy.
The funniest thing that Yahtzee's walk-out music is from a character who was a porn star. 😂
OH FUCK YES! I genuinely did not expect this game :D
Lol I love how they matched up the two dead guys.
That bit about the north of England is perfectly on point.
Gabe saying 'aah! Minecraft!' At the end was spookily similar to my reaction to seeinh the drown out of minecraft in my subscription :P
I may not have been 15, but I certainly loved playing this game with my 15 year old brother at the time. I was only 6.
I'm 100% with Gabe on "soft southern poof" being friggin' funny. Gets a laugh every time I hear it or think of it.

Heisenberg lays some smackdown!
