    Today, I take another nostalic and historic memory lane road trip. In this episode, I visit the famous gravesite of one of The Three Stooges' favorite sidekicks, BUD JAMISON. He's buried in the Mausoleum of the Golden West at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California.
    I also visit the final resting place of actor Cesar Romero who is laid to rest near Jamison's cremation niche.
    Thanks for joining me on my travels on yet another trip to the past, and for sharing the memories.

    Sad he died so young. BTW, his Wikipedia page states that he was born in 1894, while his plaque reads 1895. I think I would believe his official columbarium memorial over Wikipedia. Either way, he died quite prematurely. He passed away before any of the stooges, but at least he made his mark and wil be remembered as long as people still watch 3 Stooges films and I think folks will still be watching the Stooges 100 years from now. Thanks for another interesting and informative video Steve.

    For those fans who confuse Bud Jamison with Vernon Dent-
    *Vernon Dent often played a white collar type, frequently a businessman, VIP or irate customer, who said: “Now where have I seen those three guys before?”
    *Bud Jamison played more of a mid-level type-frequently a cop, foreman or head waiter, who was on the receiving end of the setup line (pure bait!) “Our troubles are over, I just hired three new men!”

    • @KT72273
      @KT72273 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In Three Little Beers, he was the white-collar boss A. Panther! The other guy in the scene, more blue-collar, made the comment about hiring the boys! His classic moment was from Disorder in the Court when he told Curly to drop the vernacular!

      @@TheGraveyardChannel Yes, This was about a decade ago and I'm driving up and down every street in Beverly Hills looking for this damn cemetery. I had my map with me but still could not find it and I'm a very good navigator. Finally I gave up and went back to my friends house on Highlands

    In the short Three Dark Horses (1952)
    As a tribute to Bub Jamison, Director
    Jules White use a stock photo of Bud Jamison as the Candidate Hammond Egger that the three stooges were supposed to promote to get Elected but they went with the other candidate instead Abel Lamb Stewer.
    So technically I think this is Bud Jamison’s last appearance in a short it was after his death

    Quick note to friends here on this site- I live just outside of Louisville, CO. I can walk outside and see houses burning in Louisville and Superior in the distance. Luckily I'm across Highway 36 about 5 miles away and pretty safe for right now. From what I understand we have lost about a thousand homes with more to come.
