This album is a massive improvement on their last, and definitely AOTY for me.
The vocals are different because Emma was screaming in a very unhealthy way on Fragments, and now she’s in the zone doing it correctly.
Because of that shes night and day better live. Walked by dying wish in 2022 at a festival and wasn't a fan at all. After this album I took the time to look at more recent live performances and shes so much better. I would like to go to one of their shows for sure now.
Has that Boundaries magic for sure, great stuff

This release for me came out of nowhere as I only started to follow them couple weeks ago. I can already tell this album is topping a lot of other ones as my top 3-5 releases of this year its crazy. It brought me just so much joy as it reminded of the early days of Metalcore like Trivium, BFMV, As I lay Dying, All that remains, KSE etc... with a bit more hardcore in this one makes it really appealing to me. Also her vocals are just so good, cleans and harsh. ( I feel bad for the drums/china on this album 😂)
This album was definitely a surprise for me, liked it so much more than I expected (which was just generic and ‘raw’ metalcore - turned out to hype the fk out of me) haha. Great energy!
Dying wish rules!
This album sounds so nostalgic yet modern with very raw sound and I absolutely love it! One of the best metalcore album we've got this year 🤟
They’re one of the best live bands I’ve seen. I saw them with Prada last year on the Z2 tour

that's all i can say. I have friends in various bands in the Portland scene and they say they aren't "nice" people to put it lightly. You can find people talking about some of the things online but im not going to go into personal stories about the band.@@TStizzle19

Ngl this record personally was a bummer considering how good their first one was. Also the production/mixing/engineering quality is not as good compared to their first record

the audio of the album sounds very dated
