I was always a Ford guy and had a 16 Mustang GT that was supercharged and drove it for 7 years (loved it). After 5 Mustangs, finally decided to get a Corvette (C7 Stingray) and fell in love with how it drove. After a few months, missed the punch of the horsepower and traded it in on a C7 Z06 (couldn't find a manual so mine is A8). Still the best move I ever made - I absolutely love it. Hard to see myself ever driving anything else. I live in Kentucky, so I will be taking it to the Corvette Museum and hit their track. Can't wait.

I’m old , I’ve been into cars for over 30 years. All types imports, domestics,sbc,bbc,ls, c5, etc I own a 17 m7 z06 and everything you’re saying is true. These things RIPPP

Paid $65k last weekend for 2016 z06 M7 with 35k miles clean title one owner. I also have a 2023 C8 stingray htc and the z is a lot more exciting for sure. Don’t get me wrong, the C8 is a weapon, but the c7z is a batshit crazy frantic monster
I have a 2023 HTC as well…… and just bought a yellow 2015 Z06 3LZ with 24,000 miles. We are fortunate to have one of each 😊

I had a red 1988 Z51 Corvette, a black 1991 Corvette ZR-1, and a silver 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. They were all great cars. I am now on my third Corvette. It's a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, convertible A8, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. It has body colored vents and exposed carbon hood. Mine has a G meter on the HUD. Best sports car I've owned. I love it. Red is a terrible color for a sports car. But as you said, that's all subjective. The dark grey looks nice for sure. Whatever color ya get, its a dream 😊

there is a g-force meter deep in the performance section of the dash

The C6 was the first Corvette to offer a G Meter so I am sure the C7 has it.

I think I would go with the automatic for the better 0-60 but your video is causing me to question my preference. 😁

Don’t waste the car with an auto. The 7speed is definitely the way to go.
I currently have a Z06 manual and have had 3 others in the past…. 2 autos and 1 manual…… without a doubt manual is waaaay more fun driving. My wife has a Stingray with 7 speed manual as well….. her rev matching sounds good…. But that rev match on that LT4 is just intoxicating! Plus the autos have all kinds of issues…..

There is definitely a g-force meter in the car. Go through the menus in the dash next time

C7 Z06 without a doubt. Unless you just really love mustangs and want to save some money on the purchase price

That's the hardest question in the world... But I'm going to have to say GT500. Working on getting my hands on another one to really push hard and compare the 2.
You can go 0-60 mph in first gear chief..
I’ve owned this car. It was good, but not great. So much power you can’t floor it without risking going straight to jail. And the driving dynamics were boring unless going 9/10ths. Sure a test drive is fun, but live with it for a few months and you’ll get it. You HAVE to drive this car at 4-5 10ths almost always and thats not as fun as driving something with 400-500 HP that you can actually use the upper limits of a bit more. If there were a world with no police and no one on the road, this would be the perfect car

I say this all the time but the new car scene is all about having 1k hp. young dudes are destroying their 60k supras and bmws just to push numbers that they dont even use. meanwhile a 400hp civic type r driver is having more fun than them
