One of the things I appreciate about Charlie is that he can get along with people who don't always see eye to eye with him. Like making a skeptical ghost hunting video with people who are strong believers. He never tried to belittle or make fun of them, it felt like there was a level of respect that kept things fun.

I've lived 30 years, and I've been to all the supposedly haunted places, nothing. there was one abandoned house in a cemetery that my friends and I would use as a crash pad that turned me into a pure believer. full disembodied boot steps running up the stairs while my two friends and I sat upstairs. It's EXTREMELY rare to find actual ghost stuff. but there's a lot of people in the world, so a rare phenomenon seems more common in that light. but the fact of the matter is it's rare and you can't plan for it, you can stumble upon it, maybe.

So one of the first things that happened that led us to that conclusion was the fact that we'd leave beer bottles of pee, and just pee in general, in the house. So that's not good. The one night we brought a door knob home (it was a spur of the moment, silly teenager thing--we had not thought of 'haunted item/attachments' at all) and my girlfriends electronic odometer began scrambling. Someone pointed it out, and the whole car began to geek out--the odometer stopped on what looked like the word "PAY". It was numerical only. When I tell you my girlfriend did you a full U-turn in the middle of the street, demanding we take the doorknob and whatever else it was we had taken, back... Well, she had. We had barely gone down the hill from the cemetery when this occured, if I recall correctly. Now we believe it was too late at that point, likely because we had already created pee-portals all over the place, and we'd all have a lot of weird experiences, mostly conjecture; afterwards. I mean hard to prove stuff, nothing solid like at the house itself happened--and we have to account for the fact that we might have been looking for it after the odometer thing. The most convincing experience that followed that, IMO, were my own family's dreams back at my crib. None of them had been a part of these little adventures, so they shouldn't have known that it was now spooky time. We ended up having a kind of shared demonic (only in dreams) experience. The absolute best ghost hunting content comes from people who don’t believe in ghosts because they actually want conclusive evidence, and they don’t freak out and run away at the first creepy thing
in my country many said that youll smell the ghost first. some smells like flower, some like a rotten flesh. people normally also wouldnt use electrical device and some would communicate with a spirit thru another human as vessel. youll feel temperature difference as such. if it could materialize then its as they say "powerful" than the other spirits there. and some say that natural stuffs like waterfalls, mountains, can house like some weird shit, people can hear traditional music for some reason. of course i know all this because im on a binge podcast session while at work, i myself never had an experience with one.
My only paranormal experience (and I'm a huge skeptic). Room got cold as shit out of nowhere, and I felt like an overwhelming sense of fear for no reason. Those are my 2 cents.

They broke out a Ouija Board and we did the thing. One person seemed to be getting attacked as if a swarm of hornets covered him; he ran away screaming and flailing his arms as if that was happening to him, though the rest of us could not see any bugs around him. After that, we decided to leave so we could go find him and make sure he was okay. We said goodbye to the board, packed up and started to get out of the area. Almost everybody else was in front of me as we made our way out but there were two people walking behind me. I thought one of those two put their hand on my shoulder, so I stopped and turned around. Both people were easily fifteen feet back behind me, so there is NO WAY either of them could have touched me. It was weird; the touch felt like a friendly 'Hey, how ya doing?' and did not feel 'dangerous' at all. Just an acknowledgement of 'Yes, we are here. You found us. See ya later.' Nothing physical like that has happened to me ever since but I have heard voices when nobody was around and I have heard puffs of breath recently (as if somebody huffed in frustration). That's about it. But all this just to say, I am a firm believer after the night somebody put their hand on my shoulder. :)

I actually had a similar desire earlier this year to find out more about ghosts/spirits/the afterlife and stumbled across a lot of hospice nurse videos talking about experiences they’ve had. Idk if it’s your cup of tea, but it’s given me personally a lot of food for thought.

This is actually a REALLY good idea. Sending people who don't believe in something but are receptive to changing that to investigate things is probably the best way to gather evidence for it because all the evidence that they do find will very likely be actually valuable. And if they find no evidence? Well, let's just say if they were someone who believed in ghosts, they would almost definitely not accept that they found no evidence. So the extra honesty makes this even better.
If ghosts actually existed, a simple security camera would prove it. Okay, people would be skeptical you faked it. But you could let skeptics set up their own cameras at least, without having to spend all night there. This was my actual plan when I did believe in this kind of stuff long ago. And security cameras were 100x less common, more expensive, and lower quality, than they are now. And yet all these supposedly haunted locations have nothing to show us.

REM Pods are extremely easy to manipulate, and can be set off with phones, walkie talkies, or even fiddling with a lav mic. You can also do it from an entirely different room, they're that sensitive to other frequencies. They're also sensitive to extremely dusty areas, and randomly set off from dust particles or a bug passing by. There's a reason they're used so much, like the very specific brand of flashlight people use to show a "ghost turned it on and off"; they're the easiest evidence to fake, unfortunately.

To be honest, every other time they've done ghost hunting videos, they do the same shit Charlie was doing. I believe in ghosts because my dad’s dad was pushed down the stairs and had a toe ripped off when me and me brother were like 5 feet away. You could see the handprints on his back when he fell and it scared the shit out of me. I believe they feed off of fear, though.
Went on a ghost hunt in college with a "professional". They had one of those weird radio things, and we were in an old building that was used in the civil war. A kid named Alex had died on campus not many years earlier and when asked if it knew Alex, it said "I am Alex". Someone then asked if there were anything evil spirits around and it said "yes". That answer had me ready to head on out, but when someone asked where the evil spirits were, it said "outside". So needless to say, I stayed for the whole damn thing, and like 5 of us stayed up all night watching Disney movies after. Me and the super skeptical after figured there had to be some kind of walkie talkie situation with someone outside, but can understand how in that moment some people could end up believing.
For me, I had an experiance with the paranormal when I asked a dead woman what her occupation was before she died. She said very clearly and sarcastically, "Being murdered". Friggin cracked me up😂

If you do another ghost hunt, try to keep in mind most spirits are more attracted to those who are less skeptical. If you’re skeptical it’s hard for them to connect. It takes energy for them to make contact and it’s less draining, sometimes energizing, for them when you believe in the paranormal. If you don’t have a mindset they can match energy with and connect to then they don’t want to try. It sometimes takes hours too for anything to happen and sometimes nothing happens, you try again another time and it goes crazy at the same place. It still takes energy for them to use the spirit box. Sometimes there’s residual energy and intelligent spirits who know they’ve past and observe what’s around them. Residual spirits tend to not know they’re dead and keep in their past time, they’ll repeat words or actions.

They broke out a Ouija Board and we did the thing. One person seemed to be getting attacked as if a swarm of hornets covered him; he ran away screaming and flailing his arms as if that was happening to him, though the rest of us could not see any bugs around him.
After that, we decided to leave so we could go find him and make sure he was okay. We said goodbye to the board, packed up and started to get out of the area. Almost everybody else was in front of me as we made our way out but there were two people walking behind me. I thought one of those two put their hand on my shoulder, so I stopped and turned around. Both people were easily fifteen feet back behind me, so there is NO WAY either of them could have touched me. It was weird; the touch felt like a friendly 'Hey, how ya doing?' and did not feel 'dangerous' at all. Just an acknowledgement of 'Yes, we are here. You found us. See ya later.'
Nothing physical like that has happened to me ever since but I have heard voices when nobody was around and I have heard puffs of breath recently (as if somebody huffed in frustration). That's about it. But all this just to say, I am a firm believer after the night somebody put their hand on my shoulder. :)

This is actually a REALLY good idea. Sending people who don't believe in something but are receptive to changing that to investigate things is probably the best way to gather evidence for it because all the evidence that they do find will very likely be actually valuable. And if they find no evidence? Well, let's just say if they were someone who believed in ghosts, they would almost definitely not accept that they found no evidence. So the extra honesty makes this even better.
If ghosts actually existed, a simple security camera would prove it. Okay, people would be skeptical you faked it. But you could let skeptics set up their own cameras at least, without having to spend all night there.
This was my actual plan when I did believe in this kind of stuff long ago. And security cameras were 100x less common, more expensive, and lower quality, than they are now. And yet all these supposedly haunted locations have nothing to show us.

Went on a ghost hunt in college with a "professional". They had one of those weird radio things, and we were in an old building that was used in the civil war. A kid named Alex had died on campus not many years earlier and when asked if it knew Alex, it said "I am Alex". Someone then asked if there were anything evil spirits around and it said "yes". That answer had me ready to head on out, but when someone asked where the evil spirits were, it said "outside". So needless to say, I stayed for the whole damn thing, and like 5 of us stayed up all night watching Disney movies after.
Me and the super skeptical after figured there had to be some kind of walkie talkie situation with someone outside, but can understand how in that moment some people could end up believing.
For me, I had an experiance with the paranormal when I asked a dead woman what her occupation was before she died. She said very clearly and sarcastically, "Being murdered". Friggin cracked me up😂

If you do another ghost hunt, try to keep in mind most spirits are more attracted to those who are less skeptical. If you’re skeptical it’s hard for them to connect. It takes energy for them to make contact and it’s less draining, sometimes energizing, for them when you believe in the paranormal. If you don’t have a mindset they can match energy with and connect to then they don’t want to try. It sometimes takes hours too for anything to happen and sometimes nothing happens, you try again another time and it goes crazy at the same place. It still takes energy for them to use the spirit box. Sometimes there’s residual energy and intelligent spirits who know they’ve past and observe what’s around them. Residual spirits tend to not know they’re dead and keep in their past time, they’ll repeat words or actions.
