I knew a family whose wife once saw a little girl playing with a ball outside in the dark. That little girl didn’t exist. Another instance the husband went into the kitchen and the cabinets/drawers were opening and things were out of place. He turned around and NOPED out of there. I think that ghosts are usually just energy passing through, or sometimes dead people living through memories (or a time loop) and don’t actually comprehend that they’re dead. Realistically, I don’t think that ‘ghosts’ have any logical reason to take requests from living people, although there are cases of lost spirits trying to figure out how to get back home. Now - if the entity or presence is hostile, it is most likely a demon, not a ghost…. Just what I’ve observed and felt. Edit: I’m not saying that ghosts are real or not real, but that it’s a whole different playing field that we don’t fully understand. Bates Mill Complex in Lewiston ME. I am the night watchman there and all the tenants constantly speak of ghosts. If you want paranormal activity, go to a place called ellison cemetary on top of maple heights in Arkansas. Its 1 single grave in the middle of the woods. Once you read the name, let her know she can come home with you. It wont be immediate, but what happens over the next month will freak you the fuxk out. Its a one and done gig though. Once you invite her, she doesnt leave. The people in that area are highly pagan, and what happens in that area borders on insane/spiritual. But that grave will haunt you. Best of luck.. The craziest was the blood curdling screams in the middle of the night. Everybody would wake up in a panic to find out whats wrong but nobody was hurt. Pool balls would break in the basement, me and my dad ran down with .22 and 12 guage in hand and it was nothing but spinning balls. Nobody in sight. So we sold the house. 3 months later they sold it. And so on. Another one, me and my brother were trying to steal cigs from my parents in the middle of the night. I watched him get picked up and thrown, then heard nothing but a child scream at the top of their lungs and it didnt stop. I folded up like a scared lawn chair with my fingers in my ears and i still heard it. It woke everyone up, my brother had bruises all down his side. Ill never forget it. I have stayed as far away from that stuff as i can ever since.

II've always wanted to set up a double-blind ghost hunters study. Randomly select 30-50 teams from a set of 'professional' paranormal investigators and/or 'psychic mediums' and split into two groups. Randomly assign one group to faux or made-up spooky locations and assign the other to 'legitimate' locations. Then run real statistics and see if there is any sort meaningful difference between the two groups. I'm certain there would not be. Only problem would be guaranteeing lack a-priori knowledge of the participants and getting standardized results so the groups can be accurately/fairly compared.

@@CazzyVR I do agree to a certain extent. There are people who also believe that ghosts are like bullies, they bully/scare you when you are alone due to you feeling vulnerable as you are alone. This is what bully/ghost feeds on. They prey for the weakness and vulnerability of humans.

If you want paranormal activity, go to a place called ellison cemetary on top of maple heights in Arkansas. Its 1 single grave in the middle of the woods. Once you read the name, let her know she can come home with you. It wont be immediate, but what happens over the next month will freak you the fuxk out. Its a one and done gig though. Once you invite her, she doesnt leave. The people in that area are highly pagan, and what happens in that area borders on insane/spiritual. But that grave will haunt you. Best of luck..
Edit: i want to say her name was Mary Huckabee and she passed away in 1860ish at the age of 8. I havent been there since i was a teenager, but we moved from the 3 story house we built ourselves because of the crazy crap that would happen. It stays vacant to this day. The craziest was the blood curdling screams in the middle of the night. Everybody would wake up in a panic to find out whats wrong but nobody was hurt. Pool balls would break in the basement, me and my dad ran down with .22 and 12 guage in hand and it was nothing but spinning balls. Nobody in sight. So we sold the house. 3 months later they sold it. And so on.
Another one, me and my brother were trying to steal cigs from my parents in the middle of the night. I watched him get picked up and thrown, then heard nothing but a child scream at the top of their lungs and it didnt stop. I folded up like a scared lawn chair with my fingers in my ears and i still heard it. It woke everyone up, my brother had bruises all down his side. Ill never forget it. I have stayed as far away from that stuff as i can ever since.

II've always wanted to set up a double-blind ghost hunters study. Randomly select 30-50 teams from a set of 'professional' paranormal investigators and/or 'psychic mediums' and split into two groups. Randomly assign one group to faux or made-up spooky locations and assign the other to 'legitimate' locations. Then run real statistics and see if there is any sort meaningful difference between the two groups. I'm certain there would not be. Only problem would be guaranteeing lack a-priori knowledge of the participants and getting standardized results so the groups can be accurately/fairly compared.
