There were 2 horror vloggers that went to the same abandoned I think factory the same night didn’t and didn’t realise but they were on complete opposite ends and in they both heard screams and crys and thought it was a ghost obviously but it later turned out it was a woman that I know got killed but I’m pretty sure it was killed and raped

When I was a little kid, I used to watch my brother play scary video games to desensitize me enough to one day brave them on my own. I'm glad this generation has someone like Charlie to desensitize them from these absolutely terrorizing videos so we can all be braver and stronger together.

The scariest thing to have happened to me is my Woody doll from Toy Story sometimes randomly saying something from across my room. I don't even pull the string. It's creepy when out of nowhere you hear "This town ain't big enough for the two of us". That and some of the dreams I have predicting stuff happening is rather spooky.
The whole "ghosts are only active at night" thing has always been one of my biggest issues with paranormal investigator shows. At the beginning of the episode they go around talking to everyone who has experienced something, and all of them say it was during the day, during normal operating hours. So why then, would you choose to do your investigation in the middle of the night, instead of the same time frame as all the reports happened
I don't remember who, but I once watched a video of paranormal investigators who explained that the daylight can affect certain types of evidence, most notably photos, and that's why they prefer investigating at night. Also, depending on where the property is, there may be some traffic outside during the day, or just more unrelated noises than at night.

When people go to abandoned buildings, I wish people would remember that a place may not be person-free. Meaning there could be squatters there, or people who could be dangerous. When you hear a noise it probably isn't a ghost but someone else just moving around. Please be safe

8:45 I can actually answer this! Ghost hunters always get asked if ghosts are only active at night. They're a 24 hour, 7 days a week phenomenon -- it's just that in the daytime, there's so much noise in our lives that it's hard to pick out what's paranormal and what isn't. And we're all so busy that we probably wouldn't notice it anyway. I mean, who's to say that a disembodied voice isn't just a neighbor talking on the phone? You know, that kind of thing.
I had an interesting conversation with my father about this on the way home from a road trip, we came up with some interesting ideas as to why activity happens more at night. We summed up to the possibility of our own paranoia/anxiety being the culprit, think about it this way: Our brain creates a lot of energy when thinking, or 'activity' if you will. With those sparks, we thought that perhaps that was enough to make a heightened experience with ghosts, hence the wonder to sceptics if they truly exist or not. Ghost hunters have even used devices to magnify the electric charge in a room to increase the activity, with terrifying results. (At least in the clips they are shown in.) Even areas with a natural charge can create these events, I believe some hunters have visited these spots throughout the world to see themselves. It may not actually be a thing, but it's a pretty neat theory when you think about it
@@shoon3032 I think it's definitely gotta do with believing in ghosts. If you think there's gonna be ghosts, then your mind will try and fill in the gaps to where it's more evident that something could be a ghost. For example, a random noise in the middle of the night could literally be anything, but if you believe in paranormal things, your mind will instantly go to that, because it's honestly not a bad explanation.

Having done a shit ton of urban exploration... whenever a door shuts or you hear a creak 100% of the time if you think you hear someone, it's not a ghost it's someone. Either a squatter or someone else thinking you're a ghost.
Thats the thing right.. Entering an abandoned building it's easy to forget that there may be actual people in there just trying to have a place to stay and you snooping around may be really scary for them.

I think the current theory for why ghosts are active at night is a mix of the more modern "fear" theory, where they get more powerful the more emotion they get from you, or, it's a holdover from the old associations between "gods and suns," so generally good is associated with sun, bad with night. Or it's simply that it's easier to scare viewers at night. Whichever view you take, maybe that helps.
Its also because its more believeable. Which makes more sense? Ghosts come out in the broad daylight, when everyone is out, but rarely anyone has seen them? Or they come out at night when barely anyone is out, and that is why sightings are rare? Its also more possible to mistake something for a ghost at night when you cant see as well.
my girlfriend's sister goes ghost hunting, and she says you go at night time to make sure you can eliminate other possibilities of what the noise or shapes could be. like oh that noise came from there, its 12 am so its either an animal or a spooky ghost.

I’ve been to that Cleveland masonic temple at night, it was about as haunted as a McDonald’s bathroom. It was basically just a club for dads that people stopped wanting to attend so they shut it down. Also I believe it is owned by the city and they just don’t have any use for it.
8:50 So my guess why ghosts are always supposed to appear at night is a). dark is scary and b). sounds at around 19 Hz apparently cause fear and are common in old houses which during the day is not a big deal as other noises cover them up but at night everyone is sleeping and there is no activity to block it.

I wanna go ghost hunting with a few friends and I wanna try and make a ghost angry. I wanna insult their momma and daddy. I wanna taunt them and mock them for being dead and that nobody remembers them or misses them. If the ghosts slams a door closed I wanna kick the door open and taunt it that "I'm right here, I'm in your space. What you gonna do about it." If I see a shadow figure moving down a hallway I wanna run after it and chase it down and do whatever I can to make it angry.
This is my theory on why people always think abandoned old places are haunted and not a" McDonald's" as Cr1tikal put it: As humans we have evolved to be afraid of the dark. It makes evolutionary sense. We can't see well in the dark and we are more susceptible to attacks in danger. So when we are in scary places or places that we believe to be scary it triggers our subconscious to emphasize every little thing that happens. That's just my basic version of my theory..,

The whole "ghosts are only active at night" thing has always been one of my biggest issues with paranormal investigator shows. At the beginning of the episode they go around talking to everyone who has experienced something, and all of them say it was during the day, during normal operating hours. So why then, would you choose to do your investigation in the middle of the night, instead of the same time frame as all the reports happened
I don't remember who, but I once watched a video of paranormal investigators who explained that the daylight can affect certain types of evidence, most notably photos, and that's why they prefer investigating at night. Also, depending on where the property is, there may be some traffic outside during the day, or just more unrelated noises than at night.

When people go to abandoned buildings, I wish people would remember that a place may not be person-free. Meaning there could be squatters there, or people who could be dangerous. When you hear a noise it probably isn't a ghost but someone else just moving around. Please be safe

We summed up to the possibility of our own paranoia/anxiety being the culprit, think about it this way: Our brain creates a lot of energy when thinking, or 'activity' if you will. With those sparks, we thought that perhaps that was enough to make a heightened experience with ghosts, hence the wonder to sceptics if they truly exist or not. Ghost hunters have even used devices to magnify the electric charge in a room to increase the activity, with terrifying results. (At least in the clips they are shown in.) Even areas with a natural charge can create these events, I believe some hunters have visited these spots throughout the world to see themselves. It may not actually be a thing, but it's a pretty neat theory when you think about it

If you think there's gonna be ghosts, then your mind will try and fill in the gaps to where it's more evident that something could be a ghost. For example, a random noise in the middle of the night could literally be anything, but if you believe in paranormal things, your mind will instantly go to that, because it's honestly not a bad explanation.

I think the current theory for why ghosts are active at night is a mix of the more modern "fear" theory, where they get more powerful the more emotion they get from you, or, it's a holdover from the old associations between "gods and suns," so generally good is associated with sun, bad with night.
Or it's simply that it's easier to scare viewers at night. Whichever view you take, maybe that helps.
Its also because its more believeable. Which makes more sense? Ghosts come out in the broad daylight, when everyone is out, but rarely anyone has seen them? Or they come out at night when barely anyone is out, and that is why sightings are rare?
Its also more possible to mistake something for a ghost at night when you cant see as well.
People are scared of stuff they cant see like how kids are afraid of the dark

I wanna go ghost hunting with a few friends and I wanna try and make a ghost angry. I wanna insult their momma and daddy. I wanna taunt them and mock them for being dead and that nobody remembers them or misses them. As humans we have evolved to be afraid of the dark. It makes evolutionary sense. We can't see well in the dark and we are more susceptible to attacks in danger. So when we are in scary places or places that we believe to be scary it triggers our subconscious to emphasize every little thing that happens. That's just my basic version of my theory..,
