The damage isn't at all consistent with an uncontained engine failure caused by a bird strike. It is however exactly what one would expect to see from an anti-aircraft missile. This bird strike stuff is complete garbage. Typical MSM nonsense.
Why do you newsies refuse to report the obvious, who are you protecting? This plane was clearly hit by shrapnel from an exploding anti aircraft missle, yiu can easily see it in the tail and multiple aviation experts have already reported this such as Blancolirio
Looking back at this it might not be a bad idea if the rear section of an airliner was designed to separate from the rest of the aircraft under these circumstances. It could even have its own parachute to keep it clear from the rest of the wreckage.
From US Department of State: "Ten years ago today, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine in territory controlled by Russian and Russia-led forces, taking the lives of 298 innocent people, including 80 children. A Joint Investigation Team in 2018 found that the aircraft was shot down by a Russian-made BUK surface-to-air missile fired from that territory"
I am no expert but the Shrapnel hole distribution seems likw the shrapnel came from an explosion slightly above the plane on its left side towards its aft section, ruling out shrapnels coming from an engine explosion. This is very likely military.
There is a video of a plane on the ground with holes in the tail as if a missile detonated beside it and put shrapnel in the tail. You couldn't get that video channel. 7?
Interesting that ABC7 removed my previous comment that called them out for omitting known facts by respected viation experts, including Juan Brown of Blancolirio who have shown beyond a doubt that this plane was brought down from shrapnel from an exploding anti-aircraft missle. These aviation experts also clearly showed that the plane had no hydrolics due to this, which could be plainly seen that no flaps, ailerons, or other control surfaces were functional. While I am not an aviation expert, I have been a pilot since 1989 and could clearly see this too. What does ABC have against the facts, as all I did was point them out?
Shrapnel holes all over the rudder and tail section of the plane.
ABC7: "It's a mystery why the plane crashed."
🤦♀
It's a mystery when these reporters are not interested in facts or aviation experts' opinions!
It was shot down. There's videos and pictures with clear evidence.
Yep, I saw those reports too. This is why people no longer watch mainstream news.
It was shot down not BIRDS!!!!

Anything Russia says think the opposite, lol a bird strike.
Anything western media says, also take the opposite. There are no media left on earth that report facts. Everything is just spins and propaganda.
Well this proves journalism is over. Do your jerb or the common man will😂😂😂😂
I heard that the Azerbaijan plane was actually shot down, there's actually numerous small holes
Azerbaijan officials: this plane was shot down by a russian missile from pantsir in grozny

yall gotta come up with better lies cuz this is just getting ridiculous
Juan Brown on Blancolirio already reported yesterday that the airplane was shot down.

Russian Air Defense shoot the Azerbaijan plane by mistake. The civil plane was landing to Grozny but fly to Kazakhstan through sea.
ABC news does not like comments questioning their competence.
damn birds with metal beaks
So sad.
Prayers for everyone
Did the pilot survive?
Honestly getting bored of these “media outlets” y’all all say the same thing in different order.
So it wasn't shot down? I'm confused.
It was probably shot down…but the news is acting like they don’t know.
"Capsian" sea?

Retaliation for Azeris shooting down Russian helicopter in Armenia, November 2020?
Mystery, really?
As if birds pecked a shitload of holes in the tail section.
Ask putler. He knows what happened. I'm sure vodka had something to do with it.
I mean, OBVIOUSLY, it was not the peaceful nation of Russia. They'd never display such misdirected aggression, especially around the holidays. 😂😂😂😂
Yes, they were birds trained by Russia to peck thru the hydraulic lines.
Wait for black box!
Those planes are old
Bullshyte.
Birds my ass that was shot down RIP to the victims 🙏 and To all who servived hope you gave a good recovery 😮
What mystery? Russian anti aircraft. Case closed. RIP to those lost. 🙏🏻 ❤
