    It is a good effort of plotting the timeline in the bio so that it is easier for ppl to review/skip into the specific part. Kudos. 👍

    I couldn't agree more when you say that CX3 Suddenly become reasonable when CHR is introduced at 140+k.

      And C-HR is charging that kind of money for an old engine.

      UMW did not market their car correctly, the market is getting more competitive but UMW still caught sleeping right now. looking at the sales figure of 2017 by brand and it speaks everything,

      Yeah, but I have a feeling mid-2018 onwards will see a strong revival from Toyota.

    Hi Kon, Need your advice. I have a CX-3 and from the Service hand book it does not show the schedule to replace the transmission oil. I did check with the Bermaz and they told me that the skyactive transmission oil is factory pre-filled and do not require an oil change. My Salesman told me that they have some experience with skyactive transmission and after the oil change the transmission starts giving all sorts of problem. I am in a dilemma now. do advise.

      What is the mileage of your car? And is it still under warranty? Wisdom I've learned with ATF is you either replace them periodically at 30,000 - 40,000km intervals or just not at all.

    • @stevena5363
      @stevena5363 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KonWaiLuen Currently at about 53,000 km (still within 3 years warranty). Yes, you are right..logically the ATF should be changed at a prescribed interval. During my service at 50,000km, I did checked with the Service Advisor and they told me no need to change the ATF or maintenance free. They informed me that the ATF was filled at the factory in Japan and Bermaz will not changed the ATF unless the transmission is having problem. Even, in the service booklet there is NO ATF change mentioned. So, I am a bit worry on this as a preventive measure. I supposed most of the Mazda Skyactive's car owners may have the same situation as me. Please advise.

      Well... do you feel any jerkiness of the transmission. If not, may be just leave it, or take it to an outside workshop to change the ATF.

      @@KonWaiLuenheard about some noise (whining noise) when dragging in 1st gear on auto mode / not smooth.. noticeably during slow moving traffic jam. when it shifts to a higher gear the noise gone. My warranty covers until 60,000 km and may void if I change the ATF outside if there is anything wrong with the transmission. What is the best option in your opinion ?.

    How come very little is said about the driver seat in this (and other reviews)? Comfort, support, height, etc. It's one of the important considerations when buying a car.

    • @KonWaiLuen
      @KonWaiLuen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's something that varies with the driver's size. Best experienced in person.

    • @killuazenitsu
      @killuazenitsu 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Everything depends on driver's size, no? But that doesn't mean one should not give an objective comment about the seat (e.g. compare the seat comfort, support, etc. against other similar vehicles' seat). If one can experience the car in person, then no need to watch the review. :) :)

    If you ever driven on a B road for 7 hours straight, a noisy car will practically make you like half dead when you reach your destination.
    Try driving one from KL to Kota Bharu via Gua Musang.

    please please please review Mazda 3 GVC pleaaaaseeeeee, i am planning to get a new car soon, my choice would either be a Mazda CX3 or a Mazda 3 high spec, already watched your review as well as Bobby's review on CX3, and i really really really hope you guys could do a review on Mazda 3 as well :D

    • @KonWaiLuen
      @KonWaiLuen  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll request, but I'd pick the Mazda3 over the CX-3

      Kon Wai Luen but the CX3 looks soo tempting wor, i am not a family man, but do ferry my friends on the weekends tho, hence figuring out which car to go for, if CX3 means I would enjoy the driving experience, but my friends will die of crammed rear seat, if 3 means more space for others....zzzzz i am totally in a dilemma, and of course, i am wondering about the quality as well since CX3 is CBU while 3 is CKD.....anyway, planning to get a car in June, haven’t test drive yet, but hoping for your review as well :)

    Which mean the NVH is abit poor for this price range? How do u compare this noise level to Persona? Put aside the segment and price

    • @KonWaiLuen
      @KonWaiLuen  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The CX-3 generates less mechanical noise - engine, transmission are both quieter on the move - but external noises such as wind and tyre noise are not as well suppressed. So what you have here is a car that does not generate much of its own noise but does not block off much outside noise either. The Persona, on the contrary, masks external noises well, but its engine and transmission make a ton of noise.

    The only car or crossover at the price of RM135K without front and rear armrest.
