Tbh I know people always squawk about “story,” but it’s kind of nice to just see a really great nighttime show set to music. Good job, Universal!
If Universal's Cinematic Celebration comes back next year, they can keep most of the iconic scenes but add new ones in between! Especially with these new special effects like the drones can finally interact with other seasonal lagoon shows, you'll see!🌎🎬

I thought this was great I especially loved the Jaws part with the enormous shark swimming along the surface of the water cool lol.
Imagine if Universal created a BTTF or Ghostbusters attraction similar to rise of the Resistance?? It would dominate the scene. Would be incredible
Rise is overrated, it should use the scoop or Indiana Jones ride tech
Does Rise operate fully any more? I think it's permanently in B mode these days. Disney are certainly ambitious (well, they USED to be), but then you end up with the disco yeti.
@@councilofkarens729 I think it’s in B mode a lot but not permanently. Believe me I’d be much happier if it were themed for the OT lol, but it’s a great ride for sure.
@@JediAlliance I keep hearing that Kylo isn't functioning and is kept obscured. It definitely sounds like KK stopped them from theming it for the OT. Massive swing and miss there! That would have been a license to print money.
I think maybe more along the lines of Spider-Man or the forbidden journey would be better if they use those templates to make those attractions they definitely would be cool.
They really cashed in on that Peaches segment 💀😅

I thought the projectors did a great job with this show, and I’d like to see Halloween and Christmas shows too, but also want to have a living show that can toss in new movie clips as promos. That’s supposed to be the advantage of screens and projectors, that they can be changed more easily. I thought the crowd was jazzed and I think it is a well balanced show, even if it can seem like a lot sometimes, that was needed.
I’m blown away by how tall those freaking geysers can get. Hopefully universal still has a show like this the next time I visit.

That finale was next-level amazing. Can't wait for what Universal does next, plus, I'm also hyped up for Epic Universe.
I was astounded by World of Color in 2014. I am sure other drone shows are cool, but lovely as they are, images of Disney villains, princesses and Disney ditties (which I love) touch a different part of the adult soul. AND in the end, one can love both. Most have room in their brains for both "When you wish." and John Williams.
All the pumps and lights are brand new so are the drones

It should be called the John Williams-sational show. Has any other composer had SO many absolute banger soundtracks. I know Zimmer, Morricone, Silvetri, Shore, Horner etc have great scores, but.......

Your double comment shows you're no stranger to copycatting. And anyway who cares? Maybe if the French city of Rheims or Amiens had the same drones, then one could gripe about copying. Orlando is a few thousand miles away.
Both parks have rollercoasters and dark rides. Is one of them copying, or are these just things that are in theme parks? I love both Disney & Universal. I used to favour Disney over Universal, but lately, I'm leaning towards Universal. That doesn't mean I'm a Universal shill or a Disney traitor (whatever you may consider those terms to mean). Can't people appreciate a show at one park? It's not a zero sum game proposition.
@@keouine it’s not considered copycatting when it’s your own word where Universal can’t be creative and create their own idea they have to copy off of Disney and they’ve done it many times
