Driving Skills are next level. You threw the Shoot exactly when you was supposed too. You recognized that it wasn’t working and you stopped that Beast going 224mph….
What a LEGEND!
I'm so glad Tom started giving YT a shot. He and his team are legends.
Also they kind of hint at more things to come. I'd be so excited to see Cleet and Brent driving this at Drag Week next to 2.0 or the new Nomad.
I think they were showing the shims because I'm guessing Cleet might run a similar setup on the elco so Steve was giving some tips for race week
Proud day to be a Michigan man, bringing out some of our legends. You go brother.
your goddamn right brother
Damn shame the only decent Dragstrip is on the other side of the state from Bailey.
@@BADHABIT571 what strip?
Cleetus should see if can buy Milan from L&L Gold.
@@BADHABIT571 could've came out to the Lapeer International Dragstrip.
Props to cleetus for staying calm and getting her stopped on the big end without shoots!!! Awesome video. Tom has an awesome ripper of a unit!!!
You are joy in our lives.... Love from Sweden 🇸🇪
Skönt å se en annan svensk här
@@noahestelli9047 Tror vi är flera svenskar som följer honom! 😀
Här e en till 👍
Faaan ja!
Känns som dom flesta motorintresserade följer honom :)
Tom gives me dad vibes, nice to see him let you do your first 6, 200mph in his car.
Can we just take a second to remember who the real OG is? Steve Morris is a legend in the game!
Wow the look on Cleats face during the first hit was epic!
that helmet is a serious piece of art
After that first Rip, when he grabbed at his chest, I believe his underpants may have become a piece of "art" too.
allegedly
Cleets, Eyes lighting up, on that "Launch" was awesome. you could literally seee the G forces he was taking. awesome work!
Taylor ray did tell you to never say “just one more” because that’s when bad shit happens. I think this video is proof that that’s sound logic.
Yes, that's facts, never say "just one more" or "last try"
Always tomorrow
if cleetus went by that he would have never ran that 7s pass with no coolant and set the record
lies, would've just ran it the next day lmao, you're weird bro
@@dylankirby814 think you've missed the point... you're weird bro.
All things considered, Cleetus is having one heck of a year. Glad to see someone livin the dream! Go Cleetus!!!
Hey Cleetus, you were spot on man and how you saved the No Chute situation and avoided the trap, was as professional as it gets. Thanks for sharing it all with us.
I hope they get you for a driver. You hands down demonstrated " calm in the face of danger " very impressive...
Best Regards,
Gene O San Jose Ca.
Month Of Freedom is the best thing to ever happen to TH-cam! Subscribed to Tom Bailey and sending more people to his channel. Cleetus & Tom are such solid dudes.
I commented on Toms video the same thing. I think Mullet needs a Steve Morris Engine in it, once you top out the 427LS. That guy knows how to make stuff go fast reliably.
Your channel has come full circle. You started out looking at this car acting like it's yours. Now you're the driver of said unit. Nice job brother
You know your on a serious team when Steve Morris himself is the engine mechanic
Steve even gave compliments to cleetus !!
Good thing the car didn't go 5.99
fr steves the man
Makes me think cleets going with morris engines now lol
@@daltonhayes3694 well its cleets car so I bet you are correct
Cleatus makes sure his heart is still inside of him
Been watchin thus channel religiously for a long time, no clue how i missed this one till just now. BLOWN AWAY
Despite the chutes not opening... A pass that fast, Garrett now knows how everyone else feels when they rip Ruby
This kid is living such a great life at any age. I hope he realizes how rare and special it is.
Realize? Shit man cleetus KNOWS. He has known for a long time
He worked his butt off for it.
Tom and Steve deserve a hats off for drawing in youthful enthusiasts. The whole community comes full circle. Freedom.
Wow tom is one cool down to earth guy I don't believe there's many guys out there that would let you drive their drag car making a past that fast he obviously trusts you a lot... Props to Tom Bailey
Cleetus is buying the car. Tom and Steve are teaching him the ropes.
@@danmyers9372 what makes you say that
@@danmyers9372 i think he is putting one of the Morris engines in Mullet and wanted to get the feel for that power and see how it runs. Tom isnt selling this to Garrett i dont believe. They kinda mentioned in the video that people already think he is buying it and they laughed like it wasnt a thing.
@@danmyers9372 no he's not Tom will never sell that car he said so himself it's like his first child 😂
@@warrenmichael918 North Texas speed is building him the baddest ls engine ever for mullet 2500 hp capable but after they tap out the car and he wants to go faster he will definitely get a different type of engine Steve Morris is already building him an engine for something watch Steve's channel a while ago I think it's just for a tow truck from the freedom factory though because it was never mentioned
@ 16:10 Tom looks like a dad talking to his son-in-law the morning after the wedding when he has never seen his daughter so happy. (reluctantly enthusiastic with a tear in his eye)
😂🤣
Love how this guy is more than happy to teach you how to adjust lash. I mean, he's already there with one of the best cars around, but he knows your cars and that's just a cool dude in my book. Too many people keep secrets, but I guess you have to in most cases. Kudos! Wish Jackstand was there, you can always learn something.
Can we take a minute to acknowledge the huge brass balls on our man Cleetus for going full send in a 3500hp Camaro that isnt his. then holding it together and saving the car and himself when the chutes failed? Holy shit dude that was incredible. Big respect 👏
Self-preservation is strong... Seriously though trial by fire on that 1/4 mile pass. Not far from ProMod license now!
It is his, we all know he bought that thing 🤣
By the title I thought you just forgot the Shute. I’m so impressed you didn’t sand-trap his car. You killed it, great job.
Man I smiled from ear to ear watching those passes! Tom Bailey is an awesome guy for allowing Cleetus to get behind the wheel of that monster of a Camaro! Cleetus handled her well and looked good in that driver seat!
Quite impressed with how calm you stayed and how well you handled the situation.
What an honor, and it just goes to show you what kind of person Ole Cleetus is Tom letting him rip the Camaro 👍✌️
I used to get into a great book so deep that it took the sound of my surroundings suddenly rising slowly in volume to realize I'd been to "That Place" again. The videos here do something to me that's similar in that "taken far from here" feeling and I love it! Cleetus, I dare say, has become my #1 Hero. Need I say more?
Cleetus, you’re a legend. In 50 years people will be talking about you still.
More than 50
Hell yeah brother. Saw the teaser and I was hyped to see this! Also I graduated college today so this is a rad gift lol. Also cool to see this helmet design on the channel again. One of my favorites.
Congratulations mate
Congrats
Congratulations dude! What degree, may I ask? I just got mine done too! Automobile engineer😎!
Congrats! I don't have the balls or money to do that
@@Toxic88088 Congrats as well! I got my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering.
Absolute Balls of Steel brother! No panic, just getting it done! Awesome pass!
I have a feeling mr Cleet is about to unvail the ultimate bald eagle machine. Learning from one of the OG's to get a handle on things before he gets his own.
It already has been unveiled, if you aint checked out KSR kevins channel he has the whole build laid out in detail.
@shawn stroh That would be a top fuel machine, yes?
Holy smokes. Can’t imagine how terrified he was. You can see it wash over him when he’s like, I’m not slowing down.
Every days a new learning experience watching your videos. So many learn so much with so few seconds on the track cletus and james.
This feels just like Leeroys first seven second pass, will be coming for this one every now and then! Gz, great video and what an awesome car.
That’s it! I got it! This is a training video! Cletus is taking the channel to the next level!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
If there’s anybody that can be trusted to hop in a car for the first time and run a 6, it’s Cleet. Insane pass
Then Cleetus immediately starts building his first big wheel.
I swear 'Ol Cleet is gonna buy 1.0 the way they're showing him inside and out of the car!
Just everything for mullet :)
ABSOLUTELY! Why else would they be giving him the red carpet treatment? I think the Drag Week will be the icing on the cake.
If Tom would sale it I bet he would
@@earnestbass1232 it's for sale - and apparently already sold
@@earnestbass1232 if you look mid way down the drivers A pillar you can see a for sale decal
For as much time as Garrett spends in cars going down the track you can tell at 12:51 in the video he was all business. He knew it was such a opportunity ! What a great car!! and pair of guy! Cleetus and Tom!
Tom's gonna have to get super clean from George to clean the seat lol
Awesome you've been letting Tom post the videos first.
So awesome for Tom to trust Garret this much. Tom is a legend in the sport. Steve makes some great engines.
While the rest of us peak, ol cleet just keeps building his mountain.
Cleetus: "I don't get nervous"
Car: "Oh, you will"
Steve Morris dropping knowledge on Cleetus and a lot of other people with the valve lash settings on a real deal 6 second street/strip car. Congrats to Cleetus and thanks to Tom Bailey and SME.👍🇺🇸💯💪
