For God's sake never remove this - I must watch it 5 time a day! How to have fun playing music to a live audience? And the go-go dancers! Help! I can't sleep in this heat. Utterly Brilliant!
I first heard this live in about 1974.....One of the best RM tracks ever and even better live. We know how good BF is but this song really shows just how good Andy Mackay and Phil Manzanera are. Happy listening.
Everyone is having a great time...on stage and off stage. Even the Go Go girls are enjoying it.? This is how concerts should be. A joyous occasion. No 50 piece Orchestra required here.!
@@carolynjones6524 My big regret is not seeing him live ( instead going to Stones shows (35) Eric Clapton (2) Dire Straits (6) Tina Turner twice & Albert Lee 6 times. Bryan has always surrounded himself with top class music and great back up singers. His Dylanesque tribute Dvd is brilliant too. The guy is the epitome of cool🕺💎👌
That's kind of true. The thing is that Thompson wasn't the prominent drummer for one side of Manifesto, F+B and certainly not Avalon which, rightly or wrongly, are the 'popular' albums that got marketed to hell and back by Polydor in Europe on a scale that Island could never do for the first five studio albums. And then, wasn't there an accident or something that took him out of the equation for some while. All of that said, Thompson far and away my favourite Roxy and Ferry drummer.
Look up Roxy Music live Wembley 1975. So much better. Dont know what dancing women do in background...show.......rather hear them singing as background vocals. Like in 1975.
Has any one ( besides me...)notice Andy has gone to transmoging from a sketchy, art school amateur, to a big time powerhouse? Crikey! Here's a guy thet, obviously since the last installment, has been practicing. Big time!
My all time favourite song, I've loved Roxy Music since 1972

There's music too? Sheesh!
I so hear you

Brings back memories of a fantastic tour ! Just love Roxy Music
Wow, one of their best ever renditions of this number and I've seen quite a few
Agree 💯👍, I challenge any of today's young bands to match this Hot Hot 🔥 performance, and this is coming from a Stones fan

Miss Julia Thornton
Bryan Ferry is the King of Swoon. The ultimate Swooner. A man's man.
Chris Spedding (motor biking) on guitar, brilliant!
Oh, and don't forger the ever brilliant Phil Manzanera.
I think he was one of the Wombles too back in the mid 70's.
I remember that song way back '75/76, wasn't he on a short list to join the Stones after Mick Taylor left?🔥🎸🎸🎸👍
good as the studio record'ing. wonderful
Nice to see Thommo on drums again. Working class guy who never got the same recognition as the front 3
To be fair, he played on one or two fewer albums than the others who were ever present (I think).

hmmm... too fast, the album version is soo great because it has a throbbing rhythm, this has been made ordinary as its lost its groove and wyrdness.
Bryan Ferry is the James Bond of music
The tempo is too fast it’s a great song they need to slow it down a bit
Sorry not as good as the original boys in the group. but still great!
Hammersmith Apollo ,London,2001
shit.............one of the worst I,ve heardViva Roxy
