Hi Tim thank you for all you do, I noticed you commented on purchasing the 462 over the 500i. Do you still feel this way and how much does the 462 give up to the 500i in power, I'm thinking of one of the 2 and would run a 32 on it from time to time. Thank You!
No cell phones Poor boys. How bout no calculators, cell phones and that was it until several years after college and then the first calculator was over $600 ! and had memory.
Man you had that 500 getting after it! I've been wanting one lately and went by a local saw shop last week and they had a 400 and 462 but no 500...that probably saved me some money.

I am pretty sure that the 500 is going to be the next edition to my saw collection, you have a bark box on yours don't you?
It is a good saw but I don't think its worth the price. I'd buy the 462 before the 500 for several different reasons
