I bought a overly used Hanix micro digger several years ago. It comes in real handy to dig out 12 inch water oak stumps and small brush, ditches for water and electric line. Past owner ruined the diesel engine - it got refitted with a red Honda GX340. This senior retiree no longer hand digs.
I own a similar version to that one. Mine has a few extra features. Those machines sure beat a shovel! We use ours in our business for landscaping work and I have fed my chipper with it before. I have a few videos on my channel of it working.
Is it weird that I enjoy digging holes? Even with just a shovel. I like to see how deep I can go. 😅 Haven't dug a hole in a while, but still seems fun.
You know there good when kubota and cat are taking notice when there sales are being lost to Chinese machines. With a few mods there actually not bad, biggest things is to turn up the pressure and add a counter weight. There’s plenty of attachments too, augers, breakers, tilt buckets, claws.
Reminds me of a fortune I got once from a fortune cookie. “When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail”. When all you had was a shovel that thing looks like a Cadillac!!
My neighbor bought one to replace his septic drain field. The thing is surprisingly good, he got his field drain done, it took him a solid week to achieve that, but he saved about $8,000 in the process and still has the Hoe. I'm thinking of buying one and modifying it by swapping the pump for a tandem pump, so I can add attachments on the stick like a post hole auger. I got a bunch of fence to build that I think that would be handy.
I'd buy one, ( I never thought I'd say that ) if the need came my way. Does it have n oil filter on the engine? If so, I'd change that ever 25 hours or so, and give the whole unit full service as and when required, I think it'd last me quite a while. I'd like to be able to slow down the engine revs a mite though and like he said, place the fuel tank somewhere away from direct engine heat too.
This unit cost me $5850, with the upgrade I put on it about 6k, I've got about 30 hours on it. I probably wouldn't recommend running commercially but some people do. Cotontop3 has was my inspiration for me getting it (my wife was not happy) but MAN I've not had a single job with it (just had a child) but I have no regrets. ALOT of units are sold straight from china and average around 3-5k+ auction fees. But I don't have time so that's why I paid the markup. Its a very simple machine to work on, as he explained in the video. I would of loved to show him the auger of grading bucket, But he's a very busy man. Kubota would run around 24k for something the same size.
got to run one pretty identical to that one, gotta say was not impressed in the slightest but definitely better than a shovel, i think if you added a 500 pound counter weight it would help a lot

perfect for septic pumper,

I’ve been thinking about getting one for my 6 year old son for Christmas.
So he’ll stay off my Deere.😂
That H12 looks like a beast!🤣

Could be handy

The excavator will be delivered to my home in a wooden box, where can I find the forklift service?
Thanks
Just like any equipment spend enough time on it you can probably make it dance

The H-12 already has the 3rd function plummed up, I actually have a auger and a grading bucket for it also.
@@rslegato Neat, if they spent just a few dollars more and put variable displacement pumps on these they would be pretty awesome.

The finest chinesium! Hey, beats the heck out of a shovel. And to think, you could probably fit it on a 5x8 trailer and tow it behind a Prius! 😅
Beats a shovel by a long way. I have a QH12 with 50 hrs. I like it
You could beat it with a hand shovel for about 4 minutes 😂, for the price those things go for at auction can’t beat them for around the house.
Those Chinese mini excavators look like those on Amazon. Great for small spots in a yard.
I wonder how much it cost. For a home owner with small projects probably not a bad deal! Save your back and money.
They are around $5-6K I believe. They keep going up more in price as people buy them.

With the right operator they can be handy, but will fall over at a drop of a hat ,compared to a shovel they don’t get tired lol
I have the some one. Much better than a shovel
Hey it comes with a thumb 👍 at least lol 😂
I saw some that were new sold at Richie Brothers Auction in IL that went for $1800.
Id buy up thw whole lot at that price. Lowest ive really seen one go for is 3k or so most are 4-5k then people try and resell them for 5-7k
Tim Gabe seems to have grown a foot and filled out a lot since last you had him on camera. Not a bad little toy . But it would beat a shovel.
Is Rotebec making the slim reaper for that one 😂? Cool little machine
They can be very dangerous if you're not careful.
That thing would dig itself back to China in about a million years.
I don’t believe I could fit on that
Nah but you could set it in the seat beside you in your dump truck!!🤣🤣🤣
I don't think you'll be trading in your Hyundai anytime soon.
That looks like a death trap! Be cool to see the mulching head on it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
