Wow you're surrounded by a lot of positive support! Kids are really like this. I've seen it. I used to be an aide for children with disabilities at an elementary school and the kids always just saw me as another kid because I was always there so I got to see how they were when the "real adults" were gone. It was JUST like this.
Ida Dudenmanner I agree, I volunteered at a center for kids with special needs in the Elementary school age and they are astonishing smart and mature in the words they use and say... They are quite 'pragmatic'... And they even know what that means... Lol.
Kids are totally honest about their feelings and feel free to suddenly talk like a robot or sing a hoppy kangaroo song. Spontaneous and free. And then it goes away. Sadly, it goes away.

Yes. Oddly the next year NBC told Lorne Michaels it needed a change. More diverse, etc. That worked for a while, with Fey, Pohler Wiig then it ran out of gas.

There's something strangely endearing about this. It's not even that funny, it's just kinds heartwarming
Your comment reminds me of the Kaitlyn & Rick sketches with Amy Poehler & Horatio Sanz. Sweet & endearing.
It's a piece of Commonwealth humour inserted into an American television program...

One of favorites of any season. Mike Myers really did come up with solid characters.
This is fun to see. We were taking the NBC tour earlier this same day, and we watched these two rehearsing this sketch through a plate glass window.

Myers finally went mental on account of the chocolate!
Ben Marino lol
My God I remember watching this new episode of SNL back in 93. This was my favorite skit. I remember being 13 and laughing my ass off at this.
Reminds me of Austin Powers and Mini me. Dr.Evil "He's gone mental on a count of the chocolate"

The older skits were so much better, they hardly ever looked at a cue card to read. The new cast constantly is looking off camera at cards.
so true!! They’re actors!! They should memorize!
I'm not sure if it's snl, but have you seen the Jimmy Fallon "who's on first" skit? He runs it constantly looking off screen. Perfect example.
