  • Another super sick day in the Presis! Got out today (04/19/24) with Ryan and started out with a skin up the Tuckerman Ravine Trail. We got to the bowl and bootpacked out of Left Gully to get over to Oakes Gulf. The first of many lines we skied was Right Buttress, which was a little thin but still a blast! Next we skinned up out of Robinson’s Neighborhood to go get a look at Bifocal Gully off of Mount Franklin. Although the cliffy choke still looked interesting, the snow was soft and coverage looked decent enough so we decided to give it a go! The line was actually a lot better than it looked, and we were able to navigate around the choke with our skis on and no down climbing! You can tell my legs were fatigued from all the other big days this week (on Boott Spur, King Ravine, Jefferson Ravine, etc) and my skiing was a little sloppy in the heavy snow, but it was still a great run. We bootpacked back out of that and climbed up through the super fun steep section by the choke. On the hike back, the Main Gully in Oakes Gulf looked too tempting not to hit so we skied that and then bootpacked back up it. We finished the day off with a run down The Chute in Tucks and enjoyed a nice descent down most of the Sherb!

Great video. I love the high speed schwacking.

Thank you! Sometimes you gotta get in the zone where you just pretend the bushes aren’t there🤣

Huh, I didn't realize Monroe and Franklin had lines that good.

Yeah there’s a ton of sick stuff over on that side! Definitely gonna be back soon to ski some more before the snow melts
