Even though the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was part of God's plan for the salvation of man, because we have all sinned and come short of His glory, it was the chief priests and other Jewish religious leaders who plotted His death. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus to the chief priests, who then had Him falsely tried and crucified by the Romans. Jesus Christ suffered greatly; He was rejected by His own people the Jews, reviled by the Jewish religious leaders, scourged (flogged), and ultimately crucified by the Romans. He arose from the grave and, after 40 days of teaching His disciples to spread the Gospel, ascended back to heaven to God, the Heavenly Father.
The crucifixion of Jesus Christ by the Jews and Romans has all too often been used as an excuse, albeit a very lame one, to persecute, and even murder, people of the Jewish faith throughout the centuries up to the present. That is why we should shun anti-Semitism and all other forms of hatred, and instead, learn to love God and one another as Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior has commanded us to do. Thank you for this eye-opening video of the two Sadducees who plotted to have Jesus Christ crucified, and whose hatred of Him eventually led to their downfall and tragic deaths.
