      To be fair.. and I do agree I'm just looking at the other end of things
      You don't really need this video, you could just play the game and max in that regard so offourse Moost people are going to show tick manipulation because they're looking at a maxing video ....

      Ya right whoever for goes 120k extra xp per hour not doing drift netting is a brain dead moron. Temporos is the LEAST afk thing ever. Sure you can leave you guy there for 10 seconds but then he will get waved, or struck by lightning or burned in the flames. So dumb people are so dumb they literally just have eternal amounts of time and post videos of the “super heddy” strat called play the game instead of tick manipulation (which doesn’t actually work)

    I think it’s important to do whatever you want to do in RuneScape and have fun, and if you aren’t feeling raids or whatever it is you normally do you find a show you enjoy and do your skilling grinds while you watch. Don’t worry about being insanely efficient xp/hr on RuneScape, let your main focus be enjoying your show or whatever it is you’re doing while you skill

    I agree as someone who plays osrs on mobile mainly it is hard or impossible to do tick manipulation and other higher effort tricks, and after alot of trial and error found all of these methods myself and am glad to see a guide confirming it and spreading it for others.

  • @dudeguy556

    For prayer, I recommend casting one of the offering spells on the arceuus spellbook with ashes while training agility at Priffdinas because there's a bank right there you can use every lap. It's a little more expensive than ensouled heads, but well worth it because you can knock out prayer while doing agility and use the extra time you save to making money.

    This is exactly what I was looking for. So many guides focus on "afk" skills, which are actually not particularly afk (you still have to babysit your client at least once a minute usually) and very slow and repetitive. I love these kinds of medium effort methods where they're stimulating enough that you don't want to blow your brains out but you can turn your brain off once you get comfortable and it speeds up the levelling process a lot. Thank you!

    Farming is such a nice and easy 99 grind. I went above and beyond doing runs constantly with all patches, but you can limit to just herbs, or just crops etc. A time or two a day and get a nice rotation with birdhouse runs.
    Can even just wait once you get to trees since they are huge xp drops

    • @weeeeelp
      @weeeeelp ปีที่แล้ว

    I think a couple other good methods to keep in mind on your way to maxing would be:
    1) Fishing at the salmon/trout fishing spot just south of the Prif entrance, this fishing spot never moves (Pretty easy to afk and get upwards of 300k fishing xp daily, if not more)
    2) Mining daeyalt shards to later be turned into daeyalt essence and used at ZMI (Daeyalt zmi is ~110k xp/hr and fairly decent gp)
    These are the two things I mainly "0 timed" (afked when I was busy at work, etc.) alongside redwoods for woodcutting. I just started playing again and maxed my account in about 1.5yr , granted, I was specifically trying to do so.

    Came back to the game a few months ago after several years away and made my first ever HCIM. Mostly going straight for max so I can actually play the game, as HCIM in particular need the ring of life effect on cape without consuming a slot. Find it interesting even after so long am still doing all the correct mid effort methods.
    Only major differences I have done is lava eels for most fishing as it is ultra afk, gives stackable herblore exp, afks onyxs for zenites, and is the highest direct fishing to gp method. Mining was motherlode mine + amethyst mostly due to their higher afk and their resource payout assists heavily with smithing, crafting, and slayer (cannon balls + amethyst broad bolts). Smithing was blast furnace + giant's foundry. Prayer is almost 0 time during slayer these days, so did it that way with heads/3x offering spell with the rest being offset by Shades of Morton minigame and the daily 39 4x + 5% ecto offerings per day on high tier slayer bones with prayer outfit. Still at the 70s to low 90s in most skills, but rates for most skills pretty good these days when combining them together.
    The main thing I am surprised almost no one does these days are sulliuscep mushrooms. I did around 30M exp on them alone on my defense pure the few months after it released. On a main it is even better as can alch and gain prayer exp from it on top of fletching and a maxed museum. It got buffed even further when they added the infinite digsite pendant to house. Went to the official world for it the other week and saw 2-5 people max at any given time with non official worlds having 0 or 1. It is one of those locations like Shades of Morton where I cannot quite comprehend how it doesn't have Wintertodt-like numbers of people doing it. Since I started my HCIM 3 months ago, I have only seen 2 people using the prayer outfit for bursting and 0 using it for training prayer. The only 3 methods that outpace Shades of Morton for prayer exp on an ironman account that I am aware of are 0 time slayer prayer, dragon slayer 2's green dragons to gilded alter, and the 39 daily instant ectos for 4x + 5% exp.

    • @TheDuckChris

      Lava eels feel more like a low effort than a medium effort method, but definitely a solid choice

    • @TacetTheTerror
      @TacetTheTerror ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheDuckChris Lava Eels can be done somewhat similar to knife ticking barabarian fishing, but since the catch rate is so much lower at lava eels the process is normally afk a full inventory then hammer tick fish the lava eels to catch a few of them quicker until out of eels, then afk it again. Due to lower catch rate it is only about 10%-20% quicker than just clicking once. Similar can be done on sacred eels last I recall, but they have even lower catch rate and worse payout.

  • @alian133
    @alian133 ปีที่แล้ว

    Important to say, imo. A lot of methods can be made substantially easier by switching to mobile. Thieving(Ardy Knights), Herblore, Mahogany homes. The process is sped up drastically and you can even get into the groove enough while not even looking at your phone/doing other activities.

    • @TheDuckChris
      @TheDuckChris  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What ive noticed lately, theres so many sneaky methods for many skills in the game that drastically boost your exp per hour. As for fishing & hunter i personally did drift net & temp plus bird houses while going to molch island for a quick break. Slayer is one of the few you cant manipulate.

  • @douglasrooney4841
    @douglasrooney4841 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I started playing again a few months ago from scratch. I’m either right at these skulking methods or just short of them. This is really nice to have this as an influence as This is my 3rd account (I’ve made a new acct each time as it was always about 10 year gaps between playing and) and I would love to finally max an account. Bird house runs are also a nice way for Hunter, I did it from 60-71 now and its been very relaxing way to train it and I get a lot of tree seeds for farming which is my favorite skill behind slayer.

  • @DelPlays
    @DelPlays ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video overall, I've been using most of these methods even on my UIM which is close to maxing.. But one critique:
    I don't understand why people are so obsessed about making Agility way worse than it is, do NOT add more clicks to your agility grinding by fletching or alching during it. That is not medium or low effort at all, it's exactly opposite of what rest of this video stands for.
    Yes agility will take a while if you do it on rooftops or priff, but if you get a muscle memory and don't pay any attention to it (when you don't constantly increase your clicks with trying to do extra stuff) you can actually make agility training very background activity by focusing on it less. Doing high alchs or fletching at same time will only make already annoying grind even worse and more tedious.
    Also I personally prefer rooftops or even agility pyramid, just because that way you will be making ton of amylase crystals or gp with very low effort compared to relatively low amount of crystals from priff. But most importantly, not having to focus on agility will speed up how it feels to you greatly.

    • @TheDuckChris
      @TheDuckChris  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's true, definitely more clicks. I advised if since I often find agility boring without, and medium effort being more focused than low effort where you can just watch tv or something

    • @DelPlays

    Some of these seem to take a while to get to. For instance Prifddinas Agility Course is 75 Agility. What do you do before that? Is it so low level that you don't consider it? I started a little over a month ago at the beginning of my vacation and none of my skills are 75 yet.
    EDIT: Don't get me wrong. It's an interesting video and I'm certainly going to check these options out when I get the level for them.

    • @TheDuckChris
      @TheDuckChris  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Recently I'm did skilling so much to get close to Diary cape although I hate skilling (Ironman btw).
    What I did is trained skills separately percentage progress. For example, I have a session of 3 hour.
    And trained like 4 skill at once for like 11 or 15 or 20 or 25%. I have one session in morning, one in evening, one at night. Ofcourse its slowing the progress but I just dont want to get burned out. POV from someone who hate skilling

    Great vid bro, I do miss some info here and there. Like at what level you can cut Sulliuscep's (it's 65 for those who wonder) but overall nice tips!

    Good guide overall. A few typos on the herblore section and sound too loud in the magic section of the video, but it's fine.
