Awesome stuff guys! I remember watching this on DVD when it first got released, and the great thing about this video (and others) is watching the adventures back again after a few years, and it just as exciting. Well done Roothy and the team!
Thanks mate, I miss them too - but there's a school of bearded blokes and ladies out there doing what I used to do, just with air con and product placement! Getting to be you can't go bush without running into film crews!
Great trip, John makes me wish I was back home. I saw a bungarra, like the big lizard in the beginning, here in the Philippines apparently they are native here too, I have also seen bush pheasants, crows and a close relly of willy wagtails, there is a species of mellalueca growing in Luzon and Rainbow Gums in Mindanao. Aus and the Philippines must have been connected at some time.
When you guys cleared that big tree and then went down to inspect the river crossing, you walked straight into the water. How did you guys know there weren't crocs around? I'm assuming it would be potentially croc territory? This is from someone down south. Loved the video, by the way. Thanks.
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY awesome thanks Roothy! Was a great trip, as a Triton lover I really enjoy seeing the old trip with Rocket in his!! You don't see enough Tritons in 4WD shows these days, especially considering how many Australians own one now!
I’m loving these old vids each Friday night. 🍺👍🇦🇺

Its weird to see this format without someone yelling "holy heck" every four seconds.

What is gunshot? I've never seen that one. 🤣

What does the temperature drop too at night
It's not too bad - maybe 8 to 10 degrees this autumn time of year.
👍
What year was this one originally filmed?
2013 I think - my memory gets a tad overworked with the trips - we had so many!
