The soldiers who fought the terrorists should be awarded the medal of valor. I know how important this medal to the soldiers, kung ang baril ang asawa nila sa giyera ang medalya ang agimat nila sa giyera. My uncle received the medal of valor fighting the abu sayyaf in Sulu and he is one of the best trained sniper of scout rangers, he is a retired army now.

I just cant imagine the bravery they did. thats 4 days in the line of fire against the enemies. if you dont have that tough endurance and the spirit of a warrior, you really wont survive. not even for just a day. a million salute to our brave men and women soldiers.

The soldier who died retrieving those bullets should get the highest medal of valor. the LT should get the 2nd highest. He did his job and beyond but the soldier who died went above and beyond to save his comrades.
