Great video! I was really impressed when he goes from a negative to positive g maneuver at 12:40 it looks like it pulls his camera off and he gets it back in place without even pausing the routine
I've only just started doing aerobatics as a paying passenger at the age of 46! I never thought that I would be able to cope with it but I'm absolutely fine! I've had four aerobatic flights this year all of which can be seen on my TH-cam channel. I'd love to do more!
Absolutely incredible. That thing went from being static to airborne in a blink of an eye. Love to know what the max rate of climb is in that bird. #nimblelittleminx
In Ukraine, entire country looks like a potential airfield. Beautiful aircraft beautifully flown. Thank you for dipping the wing on takeoff, allowing the rate of climb to be appreciated.
What I find even more amazing is the fact that there were many Great Aces in WW1 and WW2 (no matter which side they flew for) that used these same maneuvers in aerial combat! It was a jousting match of the best when chivalry was still respected as part of the battle. That lessened in WW2 as the Axis Power pilots started to shoot and kill those on the Silk. I am sure that lead to a bit of payback from the Allies. Flying should always remain chivalrous as there are only a select few that get to play the gamesmanship of warfare from above the fray. If you are a fighter pilot, it is your duty to win the battle but don't fight in the trenches. Have respect for your fellow Airman. It is a brotherhood (both male and female) that so many never to get to join. Remain honorable. Always!
Holy Fuck. The best Cockpit POV I have ever seen on TH-cam. Good on ya Viktor. You're a bloody legend mate. :) In my opinion, you are right up there with Chris Forsyth of Forsyth Aviation in Para field Airport, South Australia. He drives a Pitt Special. Best Aerobatics' driver on the planet. But he never talks about himself. He lets juniors race in the Red Bull series. The funny thing about Chris is, he knows his the best. So why should he prove it? Chris Forsyth. From Mike. a huge fan !!
@@fonatig I did notice something though that will make them even better!! When you put the ear canal tips in......reach over the top of your head with the opposite hand and pull your ear straight up. That straightens out the ear canal and lets you push the foam tips in even further, giving you a much better sound seal AND comfort. You will definitely notice a "sweet spot" when you get it.....the sound goes away and the comfort goes way up. If it doesn't improve, you are probably using the wrong size of foam tip and you might want to try a larger one. You can do that with any earplug and it will make them better. I just finished Sun n Fun airshow in Florida where I spent the week showing new and existing users how to use the foam tip. Most were not doing that extra step and thanked me for showing them!
its just so sad to be born in the wrong country... all what we can do is watching others enjoying what we know we can do best.. good for them.. dreams for us..
Wow that's impressive. I watched it time and again but failed to understand when he started his take off run and with a blink of an eye he was in the air on a left bank. Are you a pilot or a magician????

Is there a reason the center sticks are so high in these things?... I cant stand not being able to touch my forearm or elbow on a rest or my thigh haha
How does it not stall? While anyother small plane like that if you pulled back on the yoke like that would? Are those manuvers that you did there hard on that plane ir no... because it was purpose built to do those moves? Was it ever close to an un-intentional stall?
Yes this airplane was built for doing aerobatics. Actually what you can see at 10:20 seems like a snap roll to me - so the aircraft is stalled (on one wing atleast).
Can someone explain me what the card is for, the one that gets inserted around 2:09? Is it a list with manoevers or something? It is a bit difficult to see for me.
Because 2/3 of vid is filmed on the ground/runway a much better title for this would be "Sitting in a arobatic plane while preparing for an aerobatic flight... and then try 2 rolls and a loop..."

I still find it amazing that humanity has created flying machines like this. Flying planes seem like the ultimate freedom.
Until you run out of gas.
Freedom indeed.
You can't fly but you can fly
Yes. Especially on sailplanes you don’t hear anything when you fly slowly

Absolutely awesome. My dream was to be a pilot which didn’t happen so I love watching videos like this. Thank you for sharing.
it's never too late to learn. I know a guy who's been flying aerobatics for 10 years. and he's 68!

Thanks Alex and George for the replies. Keeps the hope alive. Love aerobatics.

Very cool! I really like the entire video - I found it especially interesting to watch the snap rolls! Very precise!

Супер!
what happen if you broke the stick when doing a stunt?
Am I blind or there is no vertical speed indicator on that Su31? Great flying, love the short/brutal accents.
there's not much space on the dashboard and only the most important gauges are located there. also you wouldn't really need it during aerobatic flying
Would love to go flying with you it looks so fun !!
Flying near the end ???????????
Great aircraft ! I will fly that soon :-)
Captain Inverted is
How was the flight
Very nice and precise aerobatics.
That’s so cool!
Takeoff is at 8:30.
So clean.
Is this level of jerkiness of the controls considered 'normal' for aerobatics?
Quick movements I understand, but this seemed to be a bit jerky to me
that's the whole point
What is that piece of paper with the figures on it?
that's a scheme the sequence of aerobatic maneuvers
@@fonatig Thank you!
wow amazing
The part when he turns his plane left right up down like an RC plane
why do they use center sticks and not yokes?
yoke is absolutely no suitable for aerobatics. it was created for planes with slow spin ratio
Is there a reason the center sticks are so high in these things?... I cant stand not being able to touch my forearm or elbow on a rest or my thigh haha
yeah, i know it's like 3 feet long. it's done so you could control such massive ailerons and elevator and do it more precise
Sounds like music.

Is that the biplane that you're flying?
Clearly not, there's no upper wing
what was that at 10:18. it looked to me like a soft snap role of some sort?
Indeed, flick roll :)
Can someone explain me what the card is for, the one that gets inserted around 2:09? Is it a list with manoevers or something? It is a bit difficult to see for me.
yes, you right. thats the list of aerobatic elements for the pilot. there is international standards for how you draw these things

just a regular Private Pilot Licence
