Haven't seen this video before (my mistake !)
Seems so easy... fantastic performance, great aircraft and incredible skill. I known that Castor was a great pilot ... well; he definitely is ! (very nice video, no music only the great sound of the sukhoi, that's very good !)

Great show! Wonderful pilot skills and nice plane. Did I see correctly a high alpha landing? I've only ever seen RC models and bush planes do that

Hey David you’re correct, what you saw is an exaggerated slip to a landing. Full scale and RC use this more commonly as a “cross wind “ landing. You crab the nose into the wind and then correct for rudder while in ground effect right before touchdown. He might be doing this because visibility over the nose of the Sukhoi is limited plus it just looks cool!.

2:40 that is a fantastic torque-roll! The power to weight, or the thrust to weight with that big propeller, is incredible. Is that a modified M-14? Or can the stock SU-26M? Perform the same? (Given a low fuel load and light pilot).
