Man this is AWESOME had Killer Instinct back in the day on SNES.
I still get a kick out of Spinal yelling "BOOGIE!" before doing a Humiliation.
Combo saying "Break it down" and grabbing his shades before he dances is also pretty funny.
Yeah I think he yells "eat it" right before he punches the screen in his victory animation also. Good times.
The side art looks sick
It's AI.
@@DarkOverlord96 Cool
I absolutely loved this game on SNES!!!
I remember i how happy i was when i accidentally performed Fulrgore's Gun em' down when i just wanted to do a Cyber Dash. I had the game cartridge from a bargain store so i had no instruction manual so i figured many ultras by trial and errors.
Man, videos like this always bring back memories of playing Klller Instinct in the Arcade, how in awe people were with the graphics, there always being a crowd around the cabinet, having to learn the special moves, combos, & finishers from game magazines, and how the booming 'C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!!' & 'ULTRAAA COMBOOOO!!!!' could be heard all over the arcade. Those were the days...lol
Yes, this was an iconic time period for sure, definitely a highlight
@@ClassicKillerInstinct Very much so. I was a kid & eventually a teen during the glory days of the Arcade fighters, so pretty much any of my favorites from that era (KI 1&2 of course, all Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, & Tekken games, Virtua Fighter 2 & 3, King of Fighters '95, MvC 1 & 2, Vampire Savior...the list goes on) will always be nostalgic to me, especially when playing recent ports.
It was loud on purpose.. To get your attention, Mk 4 did the same thing in the arcade. I'll admit I was intimidated the first time I heard the games attraction screens..
@@leerunion519 Yeah, I know. I was moreso reminiscing on how hype people would get when either a Combo Breaker or Ultra Combo were performed.
@PositiveBrothaHakeem all good didn't know if anyone did for sure or not.. Go my attention for sure. We need a new K.I game.
I lilke that old appearance of Sabrewolf, but is so better the new Sabrewolf, and both are incredible oponents.
This is what we need to learn how to use the finished
Thanks for this video After 30 years i still didn't know them all
Was a blast, thank you!
Brilliant game
Yes! Holds up pretty good also.
My buddy and I used to settle Arguments with K.I he would always win as Jago if I wasn't S.Wolf and he'd always lose if He wasn't Jago.
My friends would all take turns trying to beat me and would try every cheesy tactic in the book, and after enough attempts they would get burned out and be salty for like an hour lol Good times
Thunder and Night wolf have one of the sane fatalities 😭
Thumbnail is Killer!
Who Else Wanna See Killer instinct
As The Movies With Classic style 90s?
Thank you! Yeah we need a KI movie or TV show bad
I remember fulgore was most annoying in stores and resturants
People turn around “wth is that?!??!”
His finish moves lol. The volume went from 10 to 200
HA! I believe it. It is best cranked up though, very punchy
Yeah, those annoying, pig-like squeals he would do lol. They were made a little less annoying in KI2, though.
Kool finishers I can do some these lv all these games this one
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always liked finishing with an ultra combo with Cinder or Sabrewulf
The flashing finisher is my favorite 😍
Yeah that ones a classic, here's a video where I knock them off of the roof then flash them th-cam.com/video/pAgnLqO8WuQ/w-d-xo.html
I hope that if there is a new game there will be one again
I really appreciate this vid. Are you working on a KI2 compilation? I would love to see the level 4 combo enders and the secret ones too!!
I was trying to see if I could dedicate the entire channel just to the Original Killer Instinct, I may eventually run out of material and have to start KI2 and KI Gold stuff though lol. Thank you so much for the support!

Excelente video
I played this game alot on snes, i didnt know glacius has that blob finisher. Some of the finisher are a bit different than then snes version, like spinal it was thunder strike instead of skeleton grab, iirc
Yeah, Glacius' 'Blob' finisher was cut from the SNES version, while several others were altered.
@@PositiveBrothaHakeem I'm pretty sure Cinder and Fulgore had a couple of their ultimates modified to just melt the opponent on the SNES
I think Riptor was my favorite dancer.
Yeah his was great, TJ Combo had some nice moves too
Riptor 🗣️🤣😂💨
*FINISHING MOVES*
We need a movie long over due
I'm surprised Thunder's stage wasn't a stage finisher.
Yeah that would've been nice! A long fall into the canyon...
Ultras make KI a good game.
Its my number game
Orchid, Cinder, and Spinal, they lack the Ultimates in the KI 2013 game
I know, what a shame.
@@ClassicKillerInstinct it upsets me to this goddamn day
They went back for the anniversary but won’t acknowledge the lack of Ultimates for those characters, and new stages, and no, the Training Room and Debug Void hardly count
@@AlexIn_ThaCosmos89 They missed an opportunity to shine for sure
@@ClassicKillerInstinct I have a video talking about my ideas of Ultimates for the characters that don’t have one, you interested?
@@ClassicKillerInstinct exactly, and I also Microsoft for this
Now that I seen it. Its actually a little better on SNES. The sounds are better on SNES but the graphics not as good.
I read that wrong...I thought it said "Lava Poo".
I kinda wish it did now lol
That's after Taco Bell
Did you upload the ia arts? Looks cool
And more... I upload often. Enjoy facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557871889839
Any one Knows when they are going to bring the 2 killer classic games to steam? Damm I need those. It's a shame they are not available in the anniversary edition!!!!
That would be a dream come true
I love games, and coming back to view this game made me realise that my concerns and negativity on this title were justified at the time.
Then why you're here
@@Zontar82 because I love games... loads of games I didn't like I come back to. I try and justify why I didn't like them... I hated DOA series but I went back and played DOA2 and noticed the reason I hated it was because I didn't fully understand it.. I love it now... the flow of the game I enjoy.. a bit like playing soul calibre, everything has a counter.
@@Zontar82 even saying I didn't like/understand killer instinct and couldn't find joy in it... Another game and I bet you will agree I feel is on the same level is Eternal Champions.
Never played this version when I was younger but I see the heavy DKC influence. Too bad they only did a crossover with Spinal and Raptor. Kind of...
Sometimes I can get sabrewulf to do the shadow moves without the combo breaker..anyone know how I’m doing this ?
Do his howl to charge the combo breaker line. Half circle back + Fierce Kick. Let me know how it goes!
@@ClassicKillerInstinctyeah I know the howl I just don’t understand how shadow combos work or even how to do them 😂 sometimes I get the shadow sometimes I don’t ?
@@Lowie81 Oh ok. Instead of inputting his ender as directions+button, you hold the button, enter directions, release the button. Like a negative edge move in other games i.e. Street Fighter.
@@ClassicKillerInstinct oh wow never knew that… works with most Enders?
@@Lowie81 Yeah quite a few of the enders have shadow enders, not all though.
2:09
Is that game’s designer same as DK snes game?
Sure is, using the same Silicon Graphics workstations. Rare Studios
This was the "creator" of Fatality 👀👀👀
Low key, we all know who had brutalities 1st.
Brutalities came out in UMK3 which was released in 1995, Killer Instinct was released in October 1994. I think MK got the idea from KI. Who knows
@@ClassicKillerInstinct You are right. After Killer Instinct came out combos became popular.
Киллер инстинкт мне больше нравиться чем серия мк,особенно третья часть
When you order mortal Kombat from temu🤣🤣
Lol. Simular indeed, while somehow still extremely different though
Killer instinkt,практически сломал мортал комбат,еслиб не мк ультиматум,мк ушол на задний план
This games finishers are so corny
It was the 90’s. Had to be there 😂
@@SilentKGaming I was there lol and the 80s too. The fighting was okay but took way too many hits to kill your opponent and the fatalities just ripped off mortal kombat
Yep loo
The jago car is the best cause its so stupid. He look at the guy like “now?”
CAR.
PEOPLE - wtf? LOL
I mean look at MK fatalities lol….were they really that much better back then?
@@mikebivvy Nope but EVERYBODY for about 6 months straight wanted to know the moves to do them and made you the most popular kid in class guaranteed
AI art?
Really?
Yes
mk wannabe
I think they play quite different actually, and the finishers were meant to be more of a parody than carbon copies. I.e. Orchid's chest flash, Riptor's gas, Jago's car, and humiliation dances. I don't know if "wannabe" would be an accurate description.
