I worked with my dad doing electrical work for some of the FedEx ramp expansion in Memphis. We installed those weird looking lightning eliminator umbrellas above many of the light poles and the 400hz power hookups for aircraft, pretty interesting stuff!

Another great vlog. I always enjoy these man, its like watching my fav tv show. I watch before, during and after work. I enjoy my job like you enjoy yours. The only difference is you're 38,000ft in the air and im down here on the ground getting barked at by people's dogs. You fly em, i take em to the doorstep 😅🤣

As a nervous flyer I want to thank you for your constant uploads, you have been a big help. When it comes to bad weather why do pilots never fear that they may have to fly into/take off, land on ? I always check the weather before heading out on a flight and if its not clear I get nervous any tips or knowledge you can pass on here ?

Pete, what’s the HOS (Hours Of Service) for pilots? Are 121 different from 91 or 35?
Pete, when you're on final with a cross wind and using the rudder, how do you stay on course with the RWY? Are you using the ILS? It's amazing to see planes crabbing on short final but still heading "straight" for the RWY.
Don’t use the rudder to stay straight, just the ailerons on final. Than in the round out and flare is when rudder is used to xwind land
A&P stands for Airframe and Powerplant
Turned down a copilot job in '75 when FedEx was still flying Falcons because of pay (8900 first yr)..became a Controller ZDC..fired by President Reagan in 1981

hey Pete... wondering.... Are there any other planes with FedEx that you fly outside of the 767? And if so, are there any adjustments you need to make flying them or are all Boeing fairly similar?

Pete? 767s don’t steer with pedals like 737s? I thoight pedal steering was normal for all major aircraft
Pedals are secondary for steering, tiller is primary on all jets
