    For one Cup of cooked rice how much water should be added to ferment.pls tell mam.

    You did not tell for how long you fermented the rice?

      About 10-12 hours.. usually I leave it overnight

    Do you throw away the water that the fenugreek seeds have been soaking in or do you put everything into the rice, the seeds and its water?

    What is fermented here? Only buttermilk?

      Cooked rice soaked overnight is also fermented

      May I share what you’ve inspired me to make?
      1) If we add buttermilk to our cooked rice at the time we soak it overnight, we will be introducing ourfermentation culture to rice for 8 or more hours, thereby increasing the number of lactobacteria in our breakfast meal .
      2) Also, fenugreek seeds can be added to the mix at the time of soaking rice. This will eliminate the extra step of soaking fenugreek separately.
      3) If we add some fruit to our mixture overnight, beneficial lactobacteria contained in buttermilk will have more material to thrive on.

      @@LenkaSaratoga Store bought buttermilk is not good for you. I add homemade kefir, which is extremely healthy.
