    Pretty much the last thing I want from TH-cam is 'shorts' that just clutter my subscription feed...

    I used this technique for a logo that I made in photoshop. I would like to use the logo for a t-shirt but the logo needed to be in a vector file because if they stretch the logo it will loose resolution. Is there a easy way to fix this or do I have to make the logo in another program? Your videos are very educational Thanks alot!

    I’m curious as to why you applied the levels adjustment to only one of the channels instead of doing it on the whole thing?

      yep, with a contrasty image like this, selecting the channels stage is pointless. It can be useful if the image has different colours and less contrast.

    Does it work if using Color range selection?
    Since it only contains black and white colour.

      Channels will allow for a finer selection with less rough edges.

    Does this guy not know what a magic eraser is for? Just one click and the background is gone.

      Sure. If you want jagged edges. There's a reason pros rarely if ever use the Magic Wand.

    • @chasebros4948
      @chasebros4948 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not only will that leave you with jagged edges, but you will also have a white fringe from the background around your letters. The method he shows here is much better.

      @@chasebros4948 adjust the sensitivity. Like the tool is literally designed for this.

    • @chasebros4948

      No matter how much you adjust the tolerance setting it will not give you as good of a selection as channels and will still leave you with a white fringe after deleting. I have experimented doing this using several methods in the past. And channels method combined with the solid color fill was better than anything else.

      @@PhotoshopTrainingChannel well as a "pro" I just did exactly this for about 300 people at an architecture firm to create their pdf signatures and the magic wand worked fantastic with adjustments to the tolerance. Just like I've done for multiple other companies. To each their own 🤷🏼‍♂️
