totally agree, so much memories. I always wonder, if you'd put a gaming company and money behind a project like this one the potential is gigantic, i'm sure everyone wants to see an acceleracers game, even maybe with a story mode included, i'd die for that

Now that's pretty cool. Of course i can't wait for Lava realm update to the Ignition roleplay level. All i'll be looking for in that level is the drone wreckage including the separated tire. That's all needed to mark the big scene.

transferred to my gaming page how can I get distance to work? I'm stuck on beta so when i try to open the full game it opens a window saying something about running it off of steam so I cant open it. any way when i can get files so i ca just run it normally?

It's all cool, very cool. But my biggest disappointment is how the replay features the default Spectrum car instead of the car mod, that's a bit of a shame.
That's what you get for having only custom car support with game mods. Hopefully it will be officially implemented here soon

Is this gonna be updated? Because there are cars I didn't see that I was really hoping to see like the Roadrocket and Powerpiston. I don't mean to sound pushy, if this is all you can do thats fine i was just wondering if this was ever gonna be updated, I like what we got tho its pretty cool and fun.

cars are being added more often than not. don't worry. it'll happen. just make sure to check the drive every once in a while!

heads up. There is a file in that drive that is related to krazy 8 but not the actual car, so if you try to import them all at once, it won't. You might want to remove that file from the drive, took me a while to figure out what the problem was.
Yeah, that's a unity file that's related to the tutorial on importing cars. Might just put it in a folder so it doesn't interfere
ΩPUS yeah it took me a while to figure out what was up and it was driving me nuts lol. I didn’t know if you left it there by accident. But you probably should put it in another folder. I just made this comment in case other people were having similar problem. Also all the models are insane. You even got the jets on the bottom of the Deora 2!

When I installed the files from the drive, they were downloaded as notepad files and are much different from the default car files featured in "Assets" am I missing something or were they installed incorrectly?
As long as they show up in game they were installed right

The mods are all community made, so there isn't super straight-forward support for them and they don't work perfectly, but man do they look nice

Why don't you put the cars up for download on Gamebanana instead of Google Drive? There's a game section there that's completely barren, hell i'm not sure why it even exists, but it's an idea i thought i'd mention.

Everybody already has the current drive bookmarked, so it would be inconvenient to move it. Additionally, I'm not sure what advantages posting it to game banana would afford
Well, there's a screenshot requirement so you can get a good look at whatever it is you're downloading from multiple angles, some of the cars on the drive lack this, sketchfab support to show off the model if that's possible, comment section for users to report bugs with, and an update log to talk about exactly what has been updated that also pushes the submission to the top of the "recently updated" tab on the frontpage.
Not saying you should move it, i'm saying that it would get more general attention towards Distance (And your channel) as a whole.
The main advantage of the drive is convenience and speed.
