- Hi, I'm Dan and I'm cycling from Alaska to Argentina! This is my 16th episode exploring undoubtedly the best section of The Baja Divide. I ride rough roads through stunning canyons, take a boat to a remote bay with new friends and deal with my biggest bike break yet.

And don't forget the effort put into filming, riding or hiking back for camera and then editing. Self filming is very time consuming. Add some weather elements and tiredness from doing long distance biking every day and you'll see the picture.

You're right, although I can only see what you film, the scenery on this section was absolutely spectacular- the best yet by far on the Baja. Feel better, I can't wait to watch the next section of your journey!
I am so enjoying your series of videos. I've watched a number of other riders do the Alaska to Ushuaia on bike, motorbikes and 4 wheel cars. Each one is different and yours does not disappoint either. Take care and hopefully keep posting.

Hello Dan, definitely a lot of hard work in creating these videos especially if you go back and forth to retrieve the tripod and camera. Most of all is the mental stamina that is needed to travel daily and keep the body aligned to it, keep healthy which is important and safe in these trips and you should eventually complete this whole adventure. I would think that you keep in touch with your family back in England as you travel along. Cheers to more adventures.

Your videos are absolutely stunning! My sister in law has a cafe in San Jose del Cabo and I’ve driven the length of Baja before, but there was so much here I’d never seen before. In awe of your production values and editing while on the road! Can’t wait to see more of your trip! I’ve also back-packed from Northern Mexico to Panama City, so am beside myself with excitement to see what route you take and the amazing scenery you’re going to be filming. 👏🏼

My wife and I started watching a couple weeks ago and we're hooked. The scenery is stunning and the physical and mental stamina you have is simply amazing. Make no mistake though, we are drawn to this because you have an incredible ability to put a positive spin on almost everything. You have "it"! You had me on the edge of my seat on this one, especially since your pileup. I know from riding with you that you love those fast descents (as do I!). Just be careful, man!
