That game one push was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The speed and coordination, the spotters, the efficient bunker > BC repair... I just got turned into a Cure fan, and it only took 5 minutes.

I feel like Dear could've won the 2nd game if you know, he didn't "push" then twiddle his thumbs while he still had an advantage. He was too afraid to commit and lost his only opportunity to win with his current build.

Ehhhh I think that build just isn’t very strong it’s possible that he if he pushed he might’ve had the advantage but his advantage was never very big because tempest don’t deal a huge amount of eco damage for their cost so the amount they did was offset by the fact that Terran had an extra base

What always bothered me was that they didn´t allow skins in these tournaments. As this would be a great opportunity to advertise them. People say its so you have no issue to tell the different units apart. But i would argue that the pros should have any problems identifying them. And for the viewer at home you have the casters telling you whats going on. It certantly would make it a lot more interesting to view for me.
Dewoy1 not really, iirc in a zerg mech skin, swarm host‘s locust has green color on it and pros only have a few second to react on it, and if ypu are zerg’s opponent you cannot see those locust‘s lifetime, that’s why professional matches usually ban skins, it is still common to see skins in show matches.
Yeah feel like they could advertise the skins without the players using them.

Either he was trying to make another bunker and misclicked, or because they have a lot of health and stop them from having units there/ gives him high ground vision

For vision and to tank a few damage especially if the player don't focus fire then so will attack it also not just the units

How did a noob like Deer make it in to these matchups? Were these preliminary battles? That would make more sense if these were preliminary where it's nothing but elimination rounds to thin numbers.

All these proxy bullshit gameplay hardly existed in 2010 - 2012 pro league except when trying to piss of IdrA. For those who remember huskystarcraft, he had very little cheese gameplay on his channel. That was when SC2 players were actually competent unlike now. I miss the old days...
