It's an awesome video guys. I don't know in what video I enjoied more. Video about buliding a bike is like all your HOW TO videos are put together. Evrything is there, how to place your saddle, stem, drivetrain, wheels, internal cables... Such a beaty. Road party 3 is a video full of skills in bike riding, making a movie, music choise it makes me to sit on my bike and do 4 hours ride in the middle of December in below zero temperature. Once more, great job.
Great video. Martin Ashton is without a doubt a MTB legend and was a huge influence to myself when I was growing up riding MTB. I still ride my mtb and obviously ride a Road Bike. It would be great if you could do a proper sit down interview with him talking about his career and the previous Road Bike Parties. Great channel guys, looking forward to 2015 already!
They didn't talk about the trails in the video though! I'm in SoCal right now and just got a new mountain bike. I would love to check out some of those trails!
Saw Martyn Ashton at the Birmingham Cycle Show - top bloke - what an attitude to life! Watching the RBP3 video made me think - how about a GCN 'scientific' test to see if there is any power benefit to wearing road shoes and being clipped in or could we all ride flat pedals and wear trainers?
"It's all based on feel. I'm just going to feel who's the hardest". That line could cause some awkward moments if you have the volume turned up and other people in the next room.......
I wouldn't be fitting carbon bars to a road bike I was intending to do this with... Not for safety, but because carbon bars cost loads more to replace, I guess it's nice to have sponsors ;-)
E dollo They also spell it differently as well. Aluminium, which makes their pronunciation of it make sense. Aluminum is primarily used in North America, I believe.
im a teen with a road bike and use roads with gravel and light to semi deep mud what parts would you upgrade to make it faster and more robust. i ride a Carrera Virtuoso
imagine walking through a car park at night, glancing in through the open door with light steaming out- only to see dan, si, matt and martyn building a bike together....
Thanks, How tall of Sam's ? because i want to know the size choice of the Ridley road bike frame for easy control to stunt riding style, (e.g. my tall is 167cm refer Ridley size chart the size XS is suitable for me normal riding, Is it to select the size XXS for this practice? Thanks and Regards, Kalok Wong
I first found this channel thinking it would be a cycle nerds dream but it's actually more entertaining than some gamers I watch!
Martyn: Let's slam the saddle and raise the handlebars.
Gcn: Oh god I feel sick.
Well said

Watched the title, liked the video before even watched it - that's how you know it's a good one :)
I'd forgotten just how much fun this was. Nothing like banter between mates.
I just simply LOVE when GCN and GMBN host cross-over! Even if I didn't cycling I'd love this ish!
Don´t worry Dan you still the boss! loved it!
Martin Ashton is defo a Boss..
Great video guys. Love all the GCN and Road Bike vids
Thanks Penfold Smith!

brad wakefield thanks Brad! 2015 is going to be a good one!
And that all at GCN appear to be having such fun! Great job.
Matt seriously do you ever get bored... your humor dispel any trace of gloom in your midst. Fun to watch.
It's super cool of Matt, Dan, and Si building the road bike.
You guys should do more videos of you building bikes. i really liked seeing the process
"Here is your rubber" and "let's see who's is the hardest"? Apparently Matt didn't get the phrasing memo.
i think the memo was "keep that bit in"
Hahaha
Simon Richard son's reaction when asked to raise the stem is hilarious. LMFAO. Brilliant video.
Missed the part where Si sprayed it with WD40
Who knew in a few years this bike has fox 40s on it with a 20in front tire but the head tube angle is still around 60°! Lol Sam is crazy
Well..this is the toughest bike I've ever seen
No 3x is a thing of beauty lol
"Nothing wrong with sweating"
Says Simon Richardson
Don't get it have been watching gcn only half a year
GCN! You should make a video on how to build a bike! The way you guys worked on this Ridley makes it look so interesting!
-bangs mallet on crank, crank goes in- "IT ACTUALLY WORKED" -Matt Stephens
LOL
Thank you, fun to watch!
I want this bike so badly...Wow she is beautiful.
They didn't talk about the trails in the video though! I'm in SoCal right now and just got a new mountain bike. I would love to check out some of those trails!

They have already done that
Jason Stewart OK I'll have to search for it - Cheers!
Stuart Fairhurst Jason Stewart yep, we've already done that one. Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/CNedIJBZpgM/w-d-xo.html
@1:10 In the UK you guys call that a mallet?
In the U.S. we would call that a mini sledgehammer.
A mallet is usually rubber, plastic, or rarely wood.
Richard's World Traveler haha true
Great! I enjoy watching GCN! :-) Road Bike party 3 is cool! And, "Hi Martyn Ashton!" :-)
For some reason I lost it when Martyn was banging the bike on the ground at 4:49 I don't know why it was just really funny.
Itc checks how hard the wheels are and how well there pumped up
the green kit is awesome
You guys are the best!!
Love that paint job...but you gotta stack that stem.
"It's all based on feel. I'm just going to feel who's the hardest". That line could cause some awkward moments if you have the volume turned up and other people in the next room.......
"Slam that bad boy and stack this up" lmao
hard to top the colnago. i hope vision GAVE you those wheels (they owe you)! can't wait for bp3
This bike is so awesome
i see Martyn's is eager to ride that noah. poor him.
awesome looking bike...i started dribbling a bit at the paint scheme...it is lunch time tho!
i think this vid is better than the actual road bike party :)
Beautiful bike
Matt, "I'm just going to feel who's the hardest". Double entendre much?
"nothing wrong with sweating" from Simon haha!!!! took me a while
I wouldn't be fitting carbon bars to a road bike I was intending to do this with... Not for safety, but because carbon bars cost loads more to replace, I guess it's nice to have sponsors ;-)
rewatching this 😆
WELL DONE great show, lunatics.
LOL
"Just gonna feel who's the hardest"
I bet GCN never envisaged this having a pair of Fox 40's fitted, and it being destroyed by stair sets and trails. Haha.
WOOP WOOP Road bike party 3!!! :DD
When Simon says "Prologo." HAHA. 3:37
Great job, guys. BTW, I think the same about the "fit" of that bike. It's... not right.
i love how you guys from the UK say aluminum
E dollo what? "properly" you mean? :P
Is there really a proper way to pronounce it? I didn't mean it to be offensive it is just different.
My comment was tongue in cheek... dont take it too seriously..
E dollo They also spell it differently as well. Aluminium, which makes their pronunciation of it make sense.
Aluminum is primarily used in North America, I believe.
GCN ...lovin` it..
Nice build
Great videos guys. Can you do an inside look at MTN Qhubeka Pro team.
Lovely bike
Until now I had been afraid to buy carbon wheels. Think I may wiggle it in Jan and upgrade.
im a teen with a road bike and use roads with gravel and light to semi deep mud what parts would you upgrade to make it faster and more robust. i ride a Carrera Virtuoso
5:00 why does the front brakes brake when he presses the lever that is suppost to brake the rear?
That’s how some trials bikes are set up
What frame is this? All the Ridley frames on the website have integrated seat masts.
It's the Noah, but not the "Fast" version - we needed to be able to raise and lower the seat.
***** Really little! It's an XS from memory so Sam could get as much manoeuvrability as possible.
no it is the Noah RS
Good job guys! :)
Matt is my hero
At 3.55 on the "Surgery" section, I really wanted the beep sound to be Simon playing "Pong"
Yes! Martyn Ashton! Yes!
haha realy nice !!! Marry christmas from Germany ;)
素晴らしい!!最高の自転車だ!!!
what tire size do you use on this bike?
I love how there's gmbn and gcn
Are you sure these people are not just GCN impersonators? Not a single piece of lycra in sight.
I like the first part about he bottle cage stuff lol
4:55 his facial expression 😂😂😂😂
Why no disc brakes this time? Seems odd considering how much they said they helped on the road bike party 2 bike
Hey Global Cycling Network . U are such great guys !!! Love it !!!
But you ruined that bike !!! There HAS TO BE a bottle cage on it!!
Anyone know where to get the colored Prologo tape? All I ever see is black and white in the shops and online.
That would be a cool job
This is one of the best, lmao!
how long did it take and when you buy it does it come with all that?
Bravo!
LOVE IT !
2:30 - why is there a third wheel? Are GCN secretly organising the unicycle party?
Yer lol
Remind me not to hire Matt to build my bike.. Oily rag and a mallet? And I'm pretty sure I saw the bearing being pushed out on the other side..
imagine walking through a car park at night, glancing in through the open door with light steaming out- only to see dan, si, matt and martyn building a bike together....
+toasty bear that would be awesome
Where was si in the presenter TRI?
I wonder if a bigger jumper is on Si's Christmas list this year. This one looks a little too... aero
what a nice bike...
what eventually happened to the bike, did he keep it? or did it get sold for charity? or
What a beautiful bike. That's at least a $12000.00AU bike..
How long did it take the real mechanic to fix everything you did wrong...just askin.
Thanks, How tall of Sam's ? because i want to know the size choice of the Ridley road bike frame for easy control to stunt riding style, (e.g. my tall is 167cm refer Ridley size chart the size XS is suitable for me normal riding, Is it to select the size XXS for this practice?

"Put that myself..." Lmaoo
I thought you were supposed to use some kind of protection when sawing through carbon fiber? (as the tiny particles can get inside your body)
smbu You are, you're also supposed to not hammer the crank set in I believe.
Brede Doerner I'm guessing that's because they have some expensive tool to sell everyone lol
i watched this first before #RBP3 then wondered how much trust was put into the assembly of the bike :)
are you're planning to sell the green GCN kit?
Where can I get these jackets from you?? They are not in the Santini-Kit!!
I really want those wheels
Cute and rides nice
hey guys where in the world did you buy this stuff
What does Matt mouth at 3:09?
timtimzi ni "Nor have I!"
What's that song during the outro?
Final weight?
3:40 perfect xD
AWESOME
how much did the bike cost?
