    Hi Dr. What's up?
    kindly..
1_ can we upright 2 tilted molars with the same uprighting loop?
2_ how can a crimpable hook move the teeth if it was put at the mid point between 2 brackets and not attached or so close to it? I mean, how can it transmitted force to move teeth if it was not fixed to the bracket?
    hoping you've got what I meant 😁😁
    thank you so much 🌹🌹

Hi Doc! I'm no Orthodontist and that is all to specialist for me. What I can say is that orthodontics is a totally valid way to get the correct torque on the molars in these scenarios!

No need to Robin Hood it. You can Winnie the Pooh it. 😉
Modified Dahl principle will let you leave the opposing tooth alone but still get the effects of reducing lateral interference.

Literally tried this on a patient yesterday, Composite blob on lower molars (acid wear from GORD) to intrude them/their opposing teeth for 3 weeks, aiming to minimise prep required in already worn teeth. Let’s see how this goes!

@@Cavanho A good rule of thumb is to expect about 1mm of tooth movement pr month, so it depends on how much room.

@@hkotann should I then have to replace the composite after one month? Tbf I

@@Cavanho That depends on other factors. A restoration that is 1,5 - 2mm in thickness usually last a long time. I mostly do these treatments with direct restorations. If the tooth has cracks that need treatment we transition to ceramics when occlusion settles.
