- First time at the dunes with the Utah Raptor Run in March 2021 and I had a blast! My new Fox Factory Race Series 3.0 Shocks performed incredible!

Wish I lived out there, mines chillin in my driveway right now, did the Raptor Assault few months ago tho, was a blast!
I never did Raptor Assault (since I have so many trials within a few minutes from my house) but I’ve heard it’s a blast!
@@raptorsofinsta it was great & really hammers home just how much different the Raptor is than a standard F150. When I was a GM diehard I used to think you could replicate a Raptor for less $$$ modify a stock truck. I came away realizing 100% that is not the case & made me feel
Despite the price tag that it’s actually a great deal from the factory for what you get, can’t replicate all the capability for aftermarket Mod $$&

Great truck!.. I can say that even though I don't like this sound of the gen 2 lol.. The gen 3 sounds so much better.!. Like 110% better!... Not knocking the gen 2 though, because IMO it is one of the most innovative factory pickup trucks, ever, just for proving that YES people will buy a full sized V6 desert runner lol..... Perfect example is how Toyota dominated Baja and other truck events all through the 1990s, with a 6 cylinder trophy truck, their famous T100 Baja truck, proving a V8 is not always needed to crush the competition!
I recently moved to Utah, from BC Canada.. I'm on the market for something that won't take any (or much) aftermarket to have some fun.. I'm 4'10 Asian girl, so mid-sized is more my comfort level 😅... I have always drive Toyota, but need a change, so interested in the future Ranger Raptor!.. For now I'll drive Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro!
What terrain setting were you using? Got a 2020 and heading to Moses Lake Dunes for first time.
Mine is a 2018 so the drive modes are a little different, but I used the Mud/Sand Mode and it seemed to do the best.

I’ve really liked them so far! Super impressed with both on and off road performance, as well as rainy/snowy conditions. They’re very quiet and smooth.

I don’t know the exact numbers, but based on my butt dyno it’s noticeably more power! Goosetuned for the win.

If you like the dunes with your raptor get in a sxs (X3 or rzr). Those little hills are nothing and you can go sooo much faster.
Yeah I’ve done dunes in a side by side, but there’s something about ripping around in a truck that just hits different.

@@vincentsangalang8120 more power most likely since this is a custom tune. Shelby Raptors have maybe $8-10k of actually performance mods. The 2019s didn’t even have 3.0s 🤦🏼♂️

The v6 sounds so bad
It’s no V8 sound but they perform well
Sounds better when your driving, but the power/TQ is where it’s at….simple tune adds 75hp/TQ to the wherls
