No Disrespect meant but...its called a `global` pandemic for a reason and koh samui has just had an outbreak. Thats why its pretty much empty. P.S love all the vids, keep them coming. All the best to those in the affected provinces right now.

That veal shank looked delicious. Do you find the wines are spoiled sometimes because of the heat? I know I’ve tasted a couple of red wines in Thailand that would be better used as a vinaigrette dressing than a drinking wine. I figure you would be the perfect person to ask 🙏🏼

Fantastic drone shots Joe, what a beautiful place. I was in Koh Samui 7 years ago and I had the best experience of Thai hospitality and acceptance. I walked a long hot journey to get a haircut. After the barber finished I asked if there were any motorbike taxis nearby to take me back to my hotel. He gestured for me to follow him, he locked up the shop and took me back to my hotel on the back of his scooter. I offered him some money but he refused to take it. Great experience.

The Italian meal looked top notch- veal cooked for 7 hours must have literally melted in the mouth. Italian food in Thailand used to be like the ropey spaghetti bolognaise my sister would make at a home economics class and bring home from school!

Hey Thai Girl Gift and Fournier joe and the others(sorry I am bad with nsmes) Whiskey geek. I thought that story about the Grandpa and grandma was very cute. I look forward to going to the island some day but the way COVID is going it will be a little while before I will be doing any traveling.
I really liked that Italian restaurant you guys went to. Very authentic food. My mother's maiden name was Morretto so we always had lots of Italian food. Really do miss those days.

Love the shots from the sky. I have only travelled in Bangkok, Pattaya and around Phuket, but OMG so much more to Thailand then just those tourist areas. So much more beautiful places and culture to explore. And yummy food to eat :-)

Mike and Sharon are nice people ,... hey Joe, I know you like to travel, you should look into this thing they sell that slides into your receiver on the back of your vehicle and it will hold your scooter , it’s a thin ramp , it would definitely hold your scooter because they make them all sizes including for big motorcycles . ( it’s not a trailer , the scooter sits on a ramp side ways behind your suv ),... google “ motorcycle hitch carrier “,... it would be perfect for where you are staying now with those tight roads , you could have the comfort of the 6 hr drive down in your suv, and then have ya scooter to get around when ya get there.

I like that jeep and land rover I wonder now much one of then would set u back in Thailand. I reckon when i was a kid back in the 90s my dad had at least 15 of then land rovers I remember 1 time he had 3 at one time.. Now you don't see then anywhere.

What do you use to make VIDEOS?
I use the GoPro 7, OZMO Action and OZMO Pocket. In this video I was using my OZMO Action and my drone used was the Mavic Pro 2. Stay safe!

I was wondering why Gift and you visit beach areas but do not swim in the ocean? Is there something wrong with the water? All the swimming shots are in the pool no matter which video your in.
Gift doesn’t really like swimming in the ocean but we both have been. My old channel shows us both swimming in the ocean on several occasions, perhaps I’ll repost those videos sometime in the near future. I personally had three real life experiences, two with people drowning, one was my sister. Stay safe!
