    The Philistines Reject David
29 Now the Philistines had gathered all their forces at Aphek. And the Israelites were encamped by the spring that is in Jezreel. 2 As the lords of the Philistines were passing on by hundreds and by thousands, and David and his men were passing on in the rear with Achish, 3 the commanders of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?” And Achish said to the commanders of the Philistines, “Is this not David, the servant of Saul, king of Israel, who has been with me now for days and years, and since he deserted to me I have found no fault in him to this day.” 4 But the commanders of the Philistines were angry with him. And the commanders of the Philistines said to him, “Send the man back, that he may return to the place to which you have assigned him. He shall not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us. For how could this fellow reconcile himself to his lord? Would it not be with the heads of the men here? 5 Is not this David, of whom they sing to one another in dances,
‘Saul has struck down his thousands,
    and David his ten thousands’?”
6 Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the Lord lives, you have been honest, and to me it seems right that you should march out and in with me in the campaign. For I have found nothing wrong in you from the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless, the lords do not approve of you. 7 So go back now; and go peaceably, that you may not displease the lords of the Philistines.” 8 And David said to Achish, “But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?” 9 And Achish answered David and said, “I know that you are as blameless in my sight as an angel of God. Nevertheless, the commanders of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’ 10 Now then rise early in the morning with the servants of your lord who came with you, and start early in the morning, and depart as soon as you have light.” 11 So David set out with his men early in the morning to return to the land of the Philistines. But the Philistines went up to Jezreel.

Thank you! You and one other You tube Bible Teacher would be counted in my godly counsellors... Praying right alongside you though, that He will provide Godly women to council me right here in NZ too. I have a couple I trust that seem as Biblically sound as you and Dr Randy but conviction has exPLODED from this message 2day. Please pray for the Church in NZ. 😔 continuing prayer 4 my brothers&sisters there in Chicago.❤

“Wicked borrow the wisdom of God and don’t give Him credit for it.” Vs. 5💜 Prov. 11:14.💜 Discernment - “Get an abundance of counselors.” 💙

Yes discernment is important but some discern and then end up destroying others. Pastors, Leaders, Group of people, people who say I am a child of God can tell you i discern this and that but if their mind their heart have different intention it means nothing. In the end it’s how you talk about other people, it’s how you show love for people. Watch how they talk. Do they encourage people to pray for a person if they discern something is wrong? Or talk bad about them? Not all people we know it’s because it’s a friend, he/she very popular in front of the people, she/he popular in giving gifts or say nice things have a good intention.

God will test true follower of Christ inside the church if you really obey. what will you do if your friends, close friends, members discern something then start running to groups and gossip and some leaders is part of it? Sometimes it’s not always outside the church the problem most of the time is inside the church the problem. God also test how will you treat your brother and sisters outside the church? God sees... Do you talk about them? Do you only choose who you want to entertained? It’s because it’s your members friend and close friends.. some churches are like this..

    1 Corinthians 15:33
Do NOT Misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
-We are influenced by the company we keep. Often there are people around us that have a negative effect on our morality and decision making, sometimes even our family members. Company is after your mind try to control your decision making.
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked.”
    OUTSIDE circle: cannot do anything
INSIDE circle: Have the access, they can talk, gossip, manipulate, lie *****CONTROL YOU***** about others.
People members are so SPOILED and end it up controlling Pastors and Leaders downfall of other people that’s one of the reason why most church fail.
Who have the access to talk to you and end up blaming other people?

David didn't lie to Achish, but what he said was ambiguous enough that Achish could take it be in his favor. How many times have we said something that is the truth, but said it in a way that no one believes us? Even David saying my lord the king, how do we know that he isn't referring to Saul and Achish assumed David was talking about him.
