I was listening to this teaching today, and when it came to: 1 Samuel 20:3".... there is but a step between me and death" reminds me of July 13 the attempted assassination on President Trump. I know it's totally out of context but just AMAZING how God's word has multi multi layers of applications (truth remains the same I know). Whilst writing, my husband and I would like to THANK YOU AND THANK YOU. We do one chapter a day and we are learning SO MUCH and YES, applying it in our own lives also.
#DanielBatarseh I so appreciate you teaching through this book. I am super encouraged y the depth which you go through the Word and the nuggets of truth you pull out as you see patterns and themes that exist in the lives of the individuals here and throughout the Word. It has enhanced my knowledge and application of the truths in this book as we also are studying through 1 Samuel as a church. I am very curious to know your approach to studying the word if you ever want to share.
One thing I couldn’t understand was that Jonathan experienced Saul’s recklessness where he even was going to be killed by Saul’s impulsive decision to call a fast and he saw the hate that Saul had for David. I thought Jonathan was being deceptive in his response to David, but I was reading it as a person given the full Biblical story whereas Jonathan is in the story and his perception is influenced by his experience. I thought that Jonathan was not given the throne because of his complacency to his fathers ways, but this sermon clarifies that the cost of Saul’s disobedience impacted his son. Thanks for this teaching.
Thank you, the pieces are coming together Jonathan and David. My view, Jonathan was a man of God, Jonathan loved his father Saul, but he did not have the mindset of Saul. Comments continue 1 Samuel 20 (Part 2.)
Unfortunately, there are numerous glitches in the recording. Good information lost. But I am grateful for the parts I was still able to hear. Thank you!
Thank You, God, for giving this man the ability to teach Your word so clearly in Jesus name amen
Pastor Daniel, God bless you ooo! The way you explain the scripture is amazingly sweet!

Surely it has to be the Spirit of God working through Ps D.
