    The Zonai faces and ears sure look like Picori to me. They are both from the sky and give enchanted gifts and wield power.

    I'm so glad you actually use the real lore, and not lore based on inaccurate translations.

    There actually is one hidden rupee in BOTW on the great plateau. Meaning there is at least on Picori who inhabits/inhabited the great plateau.

    • @ZeldaLore
      @ZeldaLore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Where exactly in the great plateau?

      Well rupees appear under a lot of specific rocks, especially in the Lynel tundra in northern Hebra, where I’ve found many silver and gold rupees. So maybe the Picori gave up on grass cuz there was simply too much of it in BotW, and switched to only pots and rocks, lol.

    • @ZeldaLore
      @ZeldaLore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@houseofskulltulips well, the Picori like to place rupees under rocks and inside pots all the time, so that makes sense. However, take into consideration that in-universe Minish Cap and BotW share the same world, so if Minish Cap was open world, it would have the same type of grass as Botw

    • @gamerbelosgfv

      @@ZeldaLore The rupees is under the of the rocks by the guardians. I think it's a green rupee.

      You can actually get rupees from cutting grass in BotW it is just very very rare, I think only happened once to me in game and I have a 100% file lol but I’ve seen it covered in videos. The rarity suggested to me that the Picori/Minish may just have dwindled in number or are less active in the world due to the calamity.

    I miss the Minish/Picori. They are so cute.💕

    • @ZeldaLore
      @ZeldaLore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They're always around, you just don't see them. Same could be said for the Koroks in Twilight Princess for example, I believe by then the Kokiri have become the Koroks and they are hiding in plain sight like in WW and BotW

    I have a theory that Link in the Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is being possessed by the Hero of Men and the power of force will place a big role in restoring the Master Sword into the Four Sword.

    They remind me of the "Borrowers" (1997) Film
    Also the film was based off of the book by Mary Norton (published in 1952).
    Though I am not sure what Japanses equivalent would be... maybe more Peter Pan (1953) inspiration coming into play with the tinkerbell scenes.
    It was said that link's green outfit and design along with his fairy companion (from ocarina of time) was inspired by and from the Disney animated Peter Pan movie (so there yah go~)

    The word Picori doesn't exist in French, and everything that is called "Picori" is "Minish". And the "adjective" is "Tyrolia" or "Tyrolian" (for the wood and plants).

    • @ZeldaLore
      @ZeldaLore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It seems that the term Minish was created by Nintendo of America and then adopted by other languages. Spanish has the term Minish too. It's strange

  • @hospee

    Love your videos!! They can totally bring the Picori back in Tears of the kingdom. Maybe we will learn that they left to the Sky and that can explain why hearts/rupees no longer can be found in Hyrule. Maybe hearts can return in the “Skylands” and will replenish weapon’s damage-so that we can continue to cook foods.
    I hope we get a Minish cap remake. That would be amazing!!

    • @ZeldaLore
      @ZeldaLore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funnily enough, they almost did bring them back in BOTW, and knowing Hidemaro Fujibayashi directed Minish Cap and is the creator of the Minish, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they showed up
