loved the oracle series. Seasons was a great callback to the first zelda game with the design of some of the dungeons. These gems need to be remade and brought back for all of us to enjoy! Great video and keep up the work!
Even if it's just Gameboy, you have to admit that this looks Ganon awesome. It is nice that Link finally got that kiss! If only CDI Link could pull that off.
yooooo i am so glad i found someone who covered the oracle games....they are so underloved but seasons was my first LOZ game...EVER! not even on a gameboy, on a emulator and this was posted 2 days before my 21st birthday (my birthday is novermber 17th) so that's fun
I refuse to acknowledge the oracle games as a different link. Capcom likely made an error in zelda's introduction, since any zelda game could be someone's first. I firmly believe it's the same link purely from the two games linked ending being a purposeful addition, to lead into links awakening.
Yet another great vid, you’ve made me very interested in Zelda lore and so I was wondering on which book you think I should first buy from the goddess collections ( hyrule hystoria...
I'll always prefer Ages first, Seasons Second in terms of the order. Seasons had a more lackluster A scenario than Ages, Ages had the ancestor of several characters show up in the past and the B scenario in Seasons is significantly better than the A scenariodue to there being more "plot addition" moments than "plot alteration" moments (unlike the B scenario in Ages). And on top of that, the additions in Seasons B Scenario are a far more satisfying payoff to the A Scenario from Ages than Ages' B scenario is for the A Scenario in Seasons.
It's actually pretty contested whether oos and ooa Link are the same as ALTTP Link, even with some of the points you stated. For starters, Zelda Encyclopedia is not exactly canon as compared to Hyrule Historia, which placed Link's Awakening after OOS and OOA. This would also explain why the games end with Link leaving to explore other lands, just like at the start of Link's Awakening, which is known to have the same Link from A Link to the Past. As for why Zelda reintroduced herself to Link, it could be for many different reasons. For one, she may have simply not seen him in some time, which is fair seeing how you have to save a whole country before seeing her again. Another reason is that game designers wanted you to know it was Zelda, since her appearance was slightly different from ALTTP, as well as since some people may not have played that game. After all, she recognizes Link at first glance anyway. Furthermore, why else would Link be allowed anywhere near the triforce, even if he did have the mark, unless he was known and trusted enough to do so. While I guess there may be some evidence against it being the same Link, there's also a lot of evidence there is, and the evidence against it is pretty weak under scrutiny.
0:04 Then what was the point of changing his design to look like OoX Link in the Link's Awakening Switch remake? I guess they just wanted to update his appearance for some reason...
@@ZeldaLore wack. ALttP Link's original art (and LA Link's art and cutscene design) do look different before the Switch remake though. I guess it's like the many identical Toon Links, just an artstyle thing.
One can't help but wonder, we're these worlds a trial for Link to overcome in the state of a dream like Link's Awakening or an alternate reality like Majora's Mask?
so both parts can be part 1 of the same story. it depends on the password. and if you don’t use any password the games are independent from each other?
Both parts can be part 1 yes, and at the end of a playthrough you get the password for the next game. It is with that password that the game incorporates the changes that lead to the true ending.
Neither really come first, as events change depending on which one yoy play first. It technically is a timeline split xD But I chose seasons first instead of Ages since Encyclopedia covered it first. Have to start somewhere.

It’s cool how it can happen In 2 ways, it has a timeline of its own.

Team Hero of Legend LTTP+Oracles+LA

He looks like the Link from A Link to the past. He looks like the one from OoA/S, but they are not the same Link. They just look similar

Other countries outside of Hyrule

love how you pronounced "impenetrable" 😅
They are different links, I am suprised
If they were successful we would have got gorito ganondorf in this game
