Koblenz has it‘s beautiful corners and some nice streets in the old town. But as many German cities it suffered from the aftermath of WW2 and the rush to rebuild the inner city again.
The old town is still pretty beautiful, but you’re right. There are other parts that were quickly rebuilt to be functional and aren’t the prettiest. Overall, Koblenz was a wonderful city to visit!
Waldgaststätte Nordmannsturm in Deister has an amazing schnitzel. Haven’t had a vegan one though sorry. Schloß Marienberg is where they filmed the end of the video „Lass un gehen“ from Revolverheld
It's definitely not as nice as in other parts of Europe. We definitely don't agree with the German expression "Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, es gibt nur falsche Kleidung."
