My 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Sterrato Play In The Snow - Offroad Supercars!

- When Porsche and Lamborghini announced these cars, it came as a perfect fusion of everything I love about supercars, as well as everything I love about off-roading, The Sterrato joined the garage earlier this summer where we soon made it a 1000 Horsepower twin turbo beast, and now it is joined in the garage by the Porsche 911 Dakar, Porsche's off road variant "supercar" .
I am convinced these cars are the very best , most fun, useful, and practical entry within the automotive world right now.
We've had the Lamborghini Sterrato out quite frequently on mountain trails, dirt, and sand dunes, but with 12 inches of fresh snow here in Utah, this stood as the perfect test for taking these two cars out.

Are you guys wearing the new macai jacket from arcteryx? I have the older version from maybe 5 years ago and the chin area/hood looks much more comfortable on this new version. If either of you have owned the previous gen of the jacket can you let me know if it’s actually a decent difference? I love my arcteryx but don’t want to drop another $1,000 on a jacket just for a new style if is not more comfortable.

I have two generations of AWD 911 Turbos. With proper snow tires, both are phenomenal in winter conditions..
But what do I drive when there is a snowstorm? My F150. Because I'm not the only one on the road and I don't need some jackhole sliding through a stop sign into my 911.
But sure, if it's a Porsche marketing loaner and they don't care if you drop axes on it, ding it up with tons of flung gravel, or get some body damage from a winter driving nitwit, tear it up in $500K+ worth of supercar.

You should have jrz make suspensions for both cars instead of king. The reason is that they do off road and track suspensions. King is a truck suspension manufacturer while jrz does super cars and specialize in Porsche and the r8/Huracan platform.

WTF did you do with allterrain sterrato tires, you replaced them with some road tires and youre surprised that it's stuck xD
It has dedicated snow tires on currently. Not sure why you think it has street tires?
@@supercar_ronBecause winter tires are street tires not offroad tires. Going offroad into thick layer of snow is much more like going into sand or mud, so you need all terrain tire type M+S just look at Porsche going like a crazy on ATs. Of course, you have to sacrifice on-road performance to be able to go off-road, not sure A/T002 has M+S badge if not and the rubber is hard for summer track performance(as I expect now after some research) youre unlucky and stuck with winter ones, that means sadly no off road in heavy snow and I guess I was wrong and suitable for winter allterrain tires for the Sterrato do not exist.

The Lamborghini has too much horsepower for the off-road environment and turbos make it worse. The Porsche is a more realistic and balanced approach.
Lamborghini has only 600hp, too much. My four wheels drive Tesla Plaid 1050hp, runs in snow like an angel. Just poor car that Lambo, underpowered, slow, useless.
@@teslapower18 the video description says the Lamborghini has over 1,000 horsepower. I'm not talking about all-wheel drive vehicles simply running on paved surfaces in the snow. I'm talking about the way that they have the Lamborghini and the Porsche set-up for off-road rally driving over the kind of terrain they would encounter in a Paris to Drakar rally.
Calm down, no way that's 12 inches... Maybe 5 to 6. These cars are not made for snow at all ! Hit a 4 to 5 foot drift and see what happens. You know nothing about snow in your little bitty cars. What a funny joke
I wish the Dakar had a better engine SMH... Why couldn't they have done a Turbo S engine or a GT3 engine and just retune it?!

Not even about the speed, more so the sound and engagement! What I meant by "retune it" is remap it for off roading and different throttle response for looser surfaces. But also what are you talking about??? Faster than the minivans out there? Sure. But literally slower than half the Porsche's out there (GTS, GT3's, GT4's, Turbo, Turbo S, heck even last gen 911's). Slower than nearly every performance sedan and not even close to modern super cars but like I said it's not really about the speed. But hey, it's your (bosses) car, so if you like spending $250k on a vacuum cleaner, then by all means lol @@supercar_ron

Dear Supercar Ron,
We at the Man Card Association of America have recieved your request to have your Man Card reinstated. Our records show that you had it revoked for failing to buy your own tools and using your wife's pink tools when needed (which we know is t much). We were excited upon hearing of your recent purchase of an axe with your intention of chopping down your own Christmas tree. That would score very high.
