I was thinking the same thing! This song and video would easily fit into the late 90s scene. It has that psydo-futuristic vibe popular around 98-99. The song itself could even be out of 2000-01tbh. And yeah it sucks that Freedom Williams left when this came out. It probably would've been a hit with him on it instead of Trilogy (who most people have no idea who they are). Trilogy did their thing on this though!

After C&C was caught stealing Martha Wash's, (the plus size diva in the video ), vocal track for C&C's hit tune "Everybody Dance Now" this video was made after she sued C&C. It was good they put the incident aside and made this track. It was definitely a jam then and still is one today.
