I’m in South Florida too and it’s nice when you find a jerk bait that slays! Found one last summer by YoZuri and caught probably same amount of Peas and Largies. I’m mostly a bank fisherman so these videos are awesome. Bought a shirt to support the channel. 👊🏼
I have a lot of unpainted 110 jerk baits that look exactly like the one you were throwing. That is a nice color scheme on that one, a pattern I’ve done on other baits before. Great video bud!
one thing i’ve noticed when you throw the jerkbait is the fact that you don’t pause very much after your pops. warm weather area’s you can fish much faster of course. but i what’s pause for 3-5 seconds in the warmer part of the year. in the winter i’ll twitch and pause for almost 30-60 seconds no exaggeration
GG threadfin gets it done everywhere. Love the 110 and 110JR by Megabass probably the only bait I'll spend 25$ on with no problem at all. I've got a whole box full lmao.

If you might be interested l you can save a few bucks and get all the bonuses by giving a Rerange jerkbait a try. The balance ‘ball’ moves snide the bait. It sounds like you’ve snapped your line or rod every time you cast it. It travels a mile even in heavy wind. I sure wish I could drive SE from where I am in New Port Richey. I’m an old fart who is essentially a beginner at Bass fishing or any type of inland saltwater fishing. I’m watching you work that Vision 110 and even though I have the exact same color. I’ve had terrible luck with it. I’m certain it’s because I’m doing some5ing wrong, or fishing in an empty water. LOL. Best wishes to you and your family.
Don't tap that bridge, I've killed a mess of Megabass jerk baits when the bearings stick inside, they crack pretty easy too. My killer bait today was a Nakamura Ishi 85, a great sinker that darts 3-4 feet left or right with a twitch, in a half hour today it got me four peas, a 6, a 2 1/2 and two dinks plus several misses. Only place I've found em is at Sucuri in Manaus, we load up every trip.

I did have one I used for sea fishing for speckled trout. I swapped out the hooks tho as the bigger fish did bend them. I now do it with 90% of my lures. Tho I now dont pay for expensive ones. Far too many good cheap ones.

academy has the same lure.store brand 5.99 I have several of them.exact same body.rick clunn also makes one.i have some of those.they run anywhere from 7-9.99.trout and snook love em
I picked up one from academy, and, although they look the same, there are some clear differences in quality. The megabass acts the same on the jerk, has a consistent horizontal suspend, and doesn't pencil. The academy one's weights sometimes go to one end of the bait giving you a bait that noses or tails straight down and sometimes has a dead jerk. I've caught many fish on visions and none on the academy. For the price, I'd rather get the googan scout from Karl.
Lawson, why don't you do a top water video on peacock bass. Here in Brazil we can fish it all year around on top water and you can try to record all those water explosions for your videos.

I know you don’t do too much largemouth fishing but I have access to a levee off of us 41 my grandpa built a cabin in the big cypress in the late 60s we still have but yea the bass fishing can be truly insane especially following a cold front the jerk bait fishing is just one after another my dad did t believe me when I told him how good the fishing has got until he came down of you ever want to get out there we can kayak fish surrounded by gators or take a job out of your interested

Best jerk bait ever. I have a couple of those 110’s and I have caught more bass on them than any other bait. Cost as much as my cheap poles haha but they catch fish.
Megabass Vision 110 is one of the best jerk baits out there! The Megabass X-80 is also a killer bait. I am surprised the original treble hooks did the job, as an upgrade for 4x or 6x is a must have for the Peacocks here in Brazil. Keep up with the great videos! Tight lines!

On those 110s always set your drag somewhat loose. The hooks are such light wire that they pull out easier than most.

For how shallow water you tend to fish you should buy the 110 Junior. Also does have some pretty lite finesse hooks as I’m sure you’ll find out

My go to was always the cheap knockoff Luck-E-Strike version. I don't think there's a better body design out there on the market.

I don't think so. Academy and Bass pro knock offs are no where close. Test them in the pool and you will see the difference.
