Billy Idol is one of my favorite artists. Great to see his still out here. Showing him to people my age is always a joy as they never heard anyone with the tenacity of Idol.
his stuff is a lot easier to sing than anything by Motley Crue or Guns N Roses, so it's not a surprise that his voice has held up a lot better than those two.

When Rebel Yell came out 40 years ago in 1983, under Bill Aucoin, it was a massive hit and put Steve Stevens on covers. Love this---Take it in people as we are seeing our loved acts retiring or passing away. We were blessed in deed. Thanks for posting this-- the era from 1977-1992 will never be repeated

When I was 40 and younger I took pills and various drugs to feel better and drank 3-5 days a week but today I drive 1-2 days both for health and money. But what counts is what happens later in life, not now, not earlier in life, but the future.
There is reverse logic going on instead of stopping and just releasing his catalogue he thought to screw it and keep going. fucking outstanding this is. Rebel Yell, holy cow

But if he can live that kind of life and stand up and sing almost 70 years old, people like me who have lived even half of his life can. But 42 years lived 22 of them in addiction. The ones he gives a hope and live longer. I've always liked his music it's the best.
