Wrapped up my fifth time seeing them this year at riot fest. Grew up with my parents playing the Cure and have been a fan ever since. This show was truly spectacular. The crowd and the energy was unparalleled. It was an ethereal experience.

I have been an absolute CURE fan since i first played a fresh "Dintegration" through its entirety as a high schooler, I couldn't hit stop....now 35 some years later, with gray hair, I love seeing the 3 imaginary boys, now 6, doing their magical art on stage or wherever! Blessed to see their show in SLC in June '23. I agree with everyone, this tour, era, and album are absoultely %@&#ing EPIC! DREAMING I might someday see "The Same Deep Water as You" played live in person....Oh to Wish Impossible Things...

I saw them from the front row of the pit in MD this summer and when I heard, And Nothing Is Forever, live this summer, I just started crying tears of beauty when Robert sang the first line, "Promise you'll be with me in the end...."
Maaaannn...I missed this because I had another concert on the north side of Chi. The Cure was the only band that I really wanted to see out of the whole fest so I got so salty/bummed out. Big thank you to you for filming and posting this.
I was lucky enough to see this, live last Setpember. I felt a little sad skipping the Godspeed You Black Emperor set to listen to this show(their set time conflicted with when this occurred at), but it was worth it. Maybe another day, I'll get to see GYBE live. Glad someone uploaded this, so I can relisten to this show.
I've been listening to The Cure since my days in High School, now @ 51 STILL my favorite band!! Have many regrets that I didn't go to Riot Fest to see them, I saw them in June @ the UC and imagine being able to see your favorite band twice in one year!!? I hate to be critical of The Cure, BUT - Jason makes pretty much all the drum parts and patterns sound wooden and flat. Where has the drive, swing and groove that Andy and Boris brought to the drum platform gone? Jason is obviously not incompetent - but for me, his playing lacks `feel` and nuance. None the less - long live The Cure !
