Cut the pan out and reweld, this way will outlive the engine itself!
Not everyone has access to that or the money to pay for that to be done. This isn't the perfect way, but it works for her.

Use evaporust is converts it to iron safe on hands we drink it in cola. Doesnt make dust either

I feel like you’ve just hidden the problem. Surely the rust is still there, spreading? Or at least you’ve put a temporary cap on it which, when it fails makes getting back to the rust even harder.
This is not how you supose to fix it. Waste of time and money!

I'm about to tackle rust on an F350. But a lot of it I'm cutting out and welding new back in. Though the frame will probably get coated.
That's cancerous rust it will buy u some time but u basically put a bandaid on it. If it's that bad on top for sure it's worst on the bottom.
Idk if riveting is the right thing to do.... If water splashes up from undercarrige wont that be the new source of rust?
What is the thickness of the sheet metal?
We had rust problems for like ever... Time to reverse rust somehow... We need a quantum computer figuring out that algorithm
Phosphoric acid stops the formation of rust itself.
Thats an angle grinder, not a drill
It's a hammer drill, that's why it has a handle. Promise.
