Yeah, you gotta watch them Denalis, 'cause sometimes them Denalis think they''re Cadillacs. Thanks for yet another video showing the best/simplest way of doing something.
I always pay more attention when the white board is out. I have quite a few drawings in my notebook for my swap. Not in a truck but it still works. Thanks! Happy holidays
You 2 are hilarious!!! Keep the good stuff coming. I hope to get some LS projects into Hillbilly Garage soon. If you get a minute, stop in and see what we have going on.
I HAVE Learned a lot with you guys!!! I know the how too videos are not what you wanted!!!! But they are the staple to so many Ls swaps !!! With you guys names on them. Mine is no different!!!! Thank you so much!!! I will be going to NoNameNationals in Sept now that I've hit over 500 subs!!!! I can compete!!!! If possible I'd line to stop by and do a collaboration video!!!!
Hey Hugh. Thanks as always... If you end up making it out this way, make sure you give us a good heads up and we would enjoy meeting you for sure. I believe NNN is about 3 to 4 hours east of us. Jerry and Emily
It would be awesome if you made a short video of everything you connected to C1 and what they do, so I know which video to rewatch when the time comes.
Hello Rusty. We do have a couple videos showing what we wire on the C1 connector for 2000 to 2002 and also 2003 to 2007. Hot at all times and Who made who. Our next video is also going to feature wiring up the C1 connector on a 2005 donor. Thanks for watching. Jerry and Emily
Hey Jimmy! We do get questions about smog tests a lot, but we don't have smog testing in Missouri and aren't sure what they require. What state are you in? We'll look into it and try to answer that in a video someday.
🤣🤣 We've talked to a few people who have passed smog in CA. If you're on FB, you can join our group UTX: Swap Talk, and I know we have folks there with more first hand experience.
Hello I got my ls swap almost done thanks too you guys …great teacher ..thanks … I got question …you have any videos for the electric Windows ….how you convert manual to electric windows ? Hope you see my message ….thanks god bless !!!
Hello Hugo. We have not done a video on that yet. We do have a truck here that we will be doing that to and it will absolutely be a video. We will get to it asap. Thanks for watching. We appreciate it. Jerry
My 01 02 donor has 2 connectors on the 4L60. I am in the process of cleaning up my wire harness. Should I go ahead and leave all those wires and reconnect them? I also found the green connector 3 B3 wire that I labeled for the backup lamps. I also plan to remove my original neutral safety switch. My truck did have a 700R4, so I don’t know if that makes a difference in my choice? Again great video thanks for your help!
I make sure all the my wiring Is good and then go and remove any of the wires from the connectors that are not used. I do keep the wires that I remove just in case I add something later. The fewer the wires, the better it will look of course. Shouldn't really be any difference from the 700r4. I hope that makes sense. Thanks again. Jerry
Love the videos. I just bought a 2013 gmc express 4500 with a 6L and a 6L80 Transmission for my swap in my 87 Square Body that I’ve had a corvette Tpi unit for sitting for 20 years. Going LS swap instead. Any suggestions about the donar vehicle I’m using. Have you done one with the 6L80? Love you guys from Newfoundland Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks Corey! We have the same setup in a 2012 GMC box van that will go into one of our trucks someday. The van harnesses and fuse boxes are a little different, but it's a great drivetrain. We'll have videos on it when we get there, but if you run into questions in the meantime, just let us know! We appreciate you watching our stuff! --Emily and Jerry
Can you use same wiring spot(F8 C2) for an outside light or outside aux. Cig lighter power, bypassing prndl switch , with relay n dash switch to power up aux. Power ??
Hey Jon. You could do that. Depending on what year box you are working with, they have a auxiliary or cig lighter spot in most of them. You could use whichever power source you wanted though. Jerry
@UglyTruckExperience oh o did not know that, thanx Jerry. Just crossed my mind, does the dome light n exterior cab light share power or are they separated behind dash on light switch? Another good video perhaps...thanx Jerry n thank em also, I've probly watched all ur swap videos three or four times each. Nobody is as informative or detailed like you guys are..👍👍
Hi Jerry, I’m getting ready to swap a 6 liter ls into my 2001 Safari, and using the DBW harness & ECM. I want to blend the Safari harness into the truck fuse box, but have a few questions about the best way to do that. Is there an email I should be using or is this forum the best way to do that?
Something I had no idea is my 64 Dodge Polara 440 2 door hardtop did not come with backup lights and emergency flashers and also no seatbelts. I thought that was very strange for a 1964 car.
Hey Geebop. I would figure the no seatbelts at that time but the no flashers and backup is interesting. We work on a 65 Chevy every now and then and I am for sure going to see what it has for lights. Thanks. Jerry

Denali! That's what I meant to say instead of Yukons! Thanks for tuning in, Rick! And thanks for ordering some merch!
I always pay more attention when the white board is out. I have quite a few drawings in my notebook for my swap. Not in a truck but it still works. Thanks! Happy holidays
You know when the white board is out, things are going to get serious. 🤣 Thanks for tuning in! Happy Holidays!

We just took a look at your latest video. Very good stuff. You have a new subscriber for sure. Jerry and Emily
great info! 👍👍👍
Hope it helps someone out! Thanks for tuning in!
Haha, I probably should get around to wiring up my reverse lights. And LS content is the best content. 😆
I drove my '70 for a few years before we wired them up. 😆 Glad to hear you're ready for some LS content! Buckle up! 😁 --Emily

Great info on reverse lights but can you in one of your future videos touch up on how to pass smog tests with ls swaps.

@ let me put on my flak vest before I answer the question lol I’m from California.
