Yes. Ankle locks is allowed under IBJJF Rules for white belts. You could even go Belly Down as long as u turn to the outside as Mike explained.

hes probably been around brazilians constantly since he was a kid so thats probably the reason lol. Not to mention hes trying to learn Portuguese now
