One of the best bands of all time
And one of the best Songs of the best Bands ever 🤘
One of their lesser known songs but one of their best I reckon......I love Jones`s slashing riffs
Best song but shame sid was so fucked on herion he couldn't even play In time 😢. Very sad
New York is a great track. All time favorite!
I truly believe Sid Vicious is one of the most important humans to have ever carried art and theatre on their back.
He's wayyyyyyy too misunderstood by nearly everybody.
The pistols were amazing
0:39 "You alright Sid?"
Nothing like it, ever.
voice of an angel
His way of singing is unique... with his special voice👍
"Angel" may not be the best way to describe it...
The face too. He was stunning.
@@diablazjamzfr bro he was a cutie
Have always loved that jacket Jones is wearing!
Teddy-boy 50s rock n roll evening coat..with velvet collar, all the rage in the 1900s...and then again in the 50s/70's and this year 2024!
This is dedicated to Johnny Thunders who replied with the song "London boys"
Sid's fine on bass.
Glenn was better
One of best!!! Try THE best mate
I think I actually hear the bass being played with minimal competence.
Agreed, he gets thru it.
oh again this comment .... so, who cares? Sid was there, where were you? what did you do? This is the SP - this is it.
its hilarious how the sound guys would just unplug sid when he got too pathetic, lol
Sid was amazing
@@andreaphelps3357 he was horrible anyone who can play bass knows that
i love you johnny and sid
Hoy se cumplen 45 años de este concierto de los Sex Pistol y hoy lo escucho mientras hago unos diseños para mis clientes, que viva el Punk 🤟🖕
Sid could play bass! If he wasn't doing drugs, he was a decent bass player. Although he was high during the gig, it's surprising he was playing the correct notes to a extent.
They literally pulled the plug on him and finished the concert without him he was fucking up so badly.
Sids calling was way fucking bigger than just managing a bass guitar. He was literally the embodiment of freedom through high art.
@@jasonweinberg1929 I hear his bass near the end of the gig
I listen mostly for Rotten's rolled r vocals 0:54 ❤
I love you,Sex Pistols! 😍🥰❤️🎼🎵🎶 God bless you!
The way Jonny looked at Sid before his vocals “ bro don’t fuck this up “
FeCkiN love the PistOls. They really did have balls to do what they did.
このNew York~のEMIへの流れが最高です。
Ask for $100 bills and thou shalt recieve $100 bills.
Sid's bass style is unique & spooky.
I think he was a very good and interesting bass player, in his own way
unique in the way he plays about as well as a any kid whos been playing for 2 weeks, lol
@@WarthDader74 yeah the shitty way
Sid was an idiot he could not play Johnny rotten and Steve Jones
@@oxrjbizzle1984y actually he did his 1st gig with the Pistols a month after he picked a bass up and then the never practised much so he had to learn live...he did bloody well and yea Im a bass player
The Pistols have an interesting characteristic. They don't play 2-minute songs, nor that fast, they can extend the use of a chord or two in an extended way, it becomes "hypnotic".But not everything about them is just music, of course.
🖤🖤🖤
i was at that show. to this day i will mumble "jonesey tune your fucking guitar" under my breath
So does Joensey if you read his autobiography
0:39 you wot m8
NY... the best of Pistols
New York!
one love
Sorry sid and nancy i couldnt save you on earth
Condemned to eternal bullshit. Prophetic really.
Sid is the best bass player ever
I'm the 9000th viewer....what do i win?
Cheese and chalk
Yo daddy.
@@frank7575a 😂
Ну что, бриты, давайте прощаться
3:18: what was thrown?
Probably a lighter
I'm gonna assume they were asking for money. It's possible a lighter was thrown.
oh the irony of steve jones copying johnny thunders' guitar sound on this song
Ask and thou shalt recieve $100 bills.
Do the Sambo. Lol
What is the meaning of that line?
SPs put on a bad show...and...dont it show?
This show isn't their best, they definitely had better ones ("Chelmsford Prison 76" is a great one), but they were 50/50% at this show. The show was shit, but they were tight in a 50/50 sense.
